The Flower Challenge #35 'Use Your Favourite Flower'.

Hi there friends, wow it's August already.....the months are flying by aren't they! I am here with more DT cards for 'The Flower Challenge'.

This month our theme is 'Use Your Favourite Flower', couldn't be any easier now could it. We also would like to welcome back a previous Guest Designer this month and it's the lovely Therese Calvird from Lostinpaper! I am sure you all know what fabulous cards she makes but if not please pay her a visit, you certainly won't regret it.

We have another PRIZE for our lucky winner again this month and our very generous sponsor is ........Clearly Besotted. They will win an e-gift card for £20.

So get making your cards to be in with a chance to win a prize ;) Anyway come and see my cards below and enjoy your week whatever you have planned ;)

ps. Our new kitchen  demolition /make- over gets started on the 12th August...yikes..wish me luck!

Altenew, Beautiful Day, Pink, Flowers

Smooth White card
Altenew Beautiful Day stamps
Altenew Remember This stamps (rosebuds
Altenew sentiment stamp Floral Art
Altenew Watercolor Stripes stencil
TH Distress inks
Versafine Onyx Black ink
N&T sequins
Glamour dust

These are my favourite stamps so far , I just love these pretty flowers! I used a stencil and softly coloured my background then stamped and coloured my flowers and leaves in these two pretty colours.

I fussy cut them all  then attached them to my topper and then my A6 card base. I raised some of the flowers up using 3d pads for interest. Then I added my stamped sentiment colouring the edge of the card to match my pink flowers.

A touch of glamour dust and a sprinkling of sequins and my card was complete.

Clearly Besotted, stripes, CAS

Smooth White card
Clearly Besotted Just For You stamp
Altenew Watercolor Stripes stencil
TH Distress inks
Hero Arts Shadow ink Navy
Little things sequins

This is another favourite stamp of mine and also a Clearly Besotted one too. Seeing as they are sponsoring us this month I thought I would include a card using it also.

I made the card the same way as the last one, except that I stamped direct to my card topper and didn't fussy cut my flowers this time. I quite like the blue and peachy colour combo too, not one I have used before I think either.

Here is our cue card below, please include it if you enter our challenge.
You have until the 25th August to enter, more details on our blog if wanted.

Gorgeous cards! The coloring on that first (my fave stamp set) is amazing. And that second card lends itself well to making multiples, no? I might have to copy that idea for some holiday cards this year!

I adore both of your cards Viv! It was so clever to follow the striped background theme through them, but I especially love the bouquet from clearly besotted that you left as line art!

I'm thinking I need that stencil now, Viv. It made a great background for both the gorgeous Beautiful Day flower and the simpler ones from CB.
