Today I am back to share another DT card with you again, this month over at 'The Flower Challenge' our theme is 'Monochrome'.
So an easy one I think this time, you can use either black, white, grey or one colour or shades of one colour. If in doubt see our blog for more inspiration, some gorgeous cards made by our amazing team again there.
I went with black and white, a combination I love as it always looks so clean and classy to me. Anyway come and have a quick look and see what you think. I made two cards and was going to share the second one as a reminder card but now I have made yet another...happy days!, so showing you two cards today.
I used the new Hero Arts flower stamps and I can honestly say I just love them .....you will be seeing these again very soon ;).....yes I know...must stop buying new stamps....it's just not gonna happen though is it let's face it lol !!

Thinking of You card
Smooth White card
Hero Arts Floral Mums stamp, die & sentiment
Kaiser craft Woodgrain stamp
Clear Embossing ink
Wow Opaque Bright White E/P
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Sequins from stash
I stamped my woodgrain background in black ink , then I stamped & die cut my flower.
I attached my flower using 3d pads to raise it up a little. Then I stamped and embossed
my sentiment, and attached it to my card also. A few sequins and was card was complete.

I made this card very similar to my first card. Just adding some black card around the sentiment this time and stamping and not embossing the sentiment.

Beautiful cards Viv. Love the black and white combo with these gorgeous flowers. The wood background is a perfect addition to this pretty card. Love the second card too!
These black and white cards are so striking! I’ve have to see if I come up with an idea for this challenge. TFS!

Two fab elegant cards Viv. x
Black and white is definitely classy, Viv, and the flowers you have chosen also give your cards a dramatic feel. I love black and white myself but challenged myself to do something different. I'm working on my reminder card now. If it doesn't work out I think I'll go black and white too.
Two beautiful card Viv, I love the black and white combination - so elegant.
