LIM Guest Designer #343 'Use A Real Object'

Hi there friends, I am here with my usual card for the  'Less is More' challenge. This time I am so honoured to be chosen as their Guest Designer ;) It's a Recipe this week and ........

Please use the cue card above when entering the challenge
and also remember to keep your cards CAS ;)

Please come and have a peek at my cards and also check out all the other beauties the
amazing Design Team  have come up with.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned ;)

White Linen card
Die-namics MFT Rectangle Peek a Boo Window die
Zig Clean Color pens
Wool (various bits and pieces)
Seahorse charm (My real object)
3d foam strips

I cut a small rectangle piece of card and painted a little sea/sky scene using my Zig pens.
Then I wrapped various pieces of textured wool around the bottom half of the card panel.

I threaded the seahorse charm on the top piece of wool before wrapping it around the card.
I used my window die to cut a section from my A6 top fold card base. Then I adhered the
card panel to my card base using 3d foam strips to raise it up a bit.

Close up as requested.

Here's another card I made for the challenge. I decided to use my mini staples and
sequins as my  'real objects'!

LIM, CAS

White Linen card
AltEnew Sketchy Flowers stamps
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Copics and Promarkers
TH Mini Stapler
Wow Rich Gold E/P
Quickie Glue pen
Neat & Tangles sequins

I stamped my flowers onto a panel and also stamped another copy. I cut a tag using one
of the panels I had stamped. I then coloured the flowers on the tag part. I used a  quickie
glue pen and embossed in gold on the tag.

I used my mini staples to attach the tag to my card panel. I stamped my sentiment and
raised it up using small foam pads.
The whole panel was then attached to an A6  top fold card base. A sprinkling of  sequins
 and my card was complete.

What an incredible guest designer you are Viv! Your first card is a real piece of art and looks like it should be framed and hung on a wall. Superb use of the natural wool to create such a visually stunning piece. Absolutely love the second card and I had to look twice as the little tag looks just like a piece of fabric. Really clever! Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us as our guest designer. xx

I'm with Sharon on that first one Viv and really think it's such a professional piece of artistry it should be hung on the wall for all to admire. What a brilliant use of different materials to create that perfect arty seaside scene. Absolutely love it. You're second one is also completely swoon-worthy, elegant, clever and love how you've kept the outline of flowers uncoloured except for the tag. Amazing work and thanks for being our perfect guest designer this week. Hope you get lots of visits. x

Well my friend, CONGRATULATIONS on being their Guest Designer, WOW!! Couldn't happen to a sweeter person.
Now, your card is a dream, love all the elements in it, the beautiful threads and that teeny, tiny sea horse swimming happily in that gorgeous piece of ocean blue.
