Scene card
Good evening friends, very grey and rainy/thundery
here tonight. Where has the Summer gone?
After looking after our two grandchildren today
(including lots of football) I am shattered lol.
I do love having them here though and they
certainly keep me fit!
Just got the energy to edit a card I made yesterday
and show you it. Come and have a quick peek.
This is the 8th go at making this card!!! I wasn't
going to be defeated lol. So many in the bin now,
.........unusual for me.
I stamped the scene, shaded it using a circle mask,
then added a few gold splashes and a few touches
using a Copic.Hmm doesn't sound that hard does it?
.....it bloomin' well was I can tell you ;)
Anyway here it is, like it or not....I am still undecided.
ps. Here is a quick photo I took of our granddaughter
Amelia. Isn't she a cutie....I bought her that butterfly
dress. Infact I bought her another dress today lol.......
.....well how can a granny resist ;)
The party went well too btw., lots of food and drink
consumed and a good time had by all. My son told me
the children wanted to come back again when they
got home aww ;)

This looks stunning! So clever how you've achieved a monochrome with that one shade of ink (which is lovely by the way). It feels very calm and warm. Fab! And Amelia is adorable! What a fun smile! x
That looks fabulous Viv... well done for your perseverance - it paid off!
And awwww to your gorgeous little grand-daughter - I think I'd be doing the same if I had one!

Amelia is DARLING!! Look at those dimples!! Such a happy face. So glad the party went well.
Sorry your card caused such grief in the making. 8 tries! Good for you persisting as you've ended up with a work of beauty!
What a beautiful photo...of both the granddaughter and the card. Your card is stunning with the use of just one card. thanks for sharing at Less is More!
Such a lovely card and an even cuter grand daughter! My boys wear me out with football so I know how you feel! :-)
Love your monochrome scene Viv, beautiful! As is Amelia, how do you resist that dimpled smile?!

Tjee Viv, this scene is so beautiful! Love the monochrome colouring and the fading towards the splatters; so intriging and original! Hugs, Gerrina
Forgot to say that the dress looks great, but Amalia looks sweeter :)
What an amazing effect you have achieved with this card, I love it, so peaceful.
Your Amelia is so beautiful, Bless her.
