Silhouette scene

Good morning blogging friends, I hope your
Saturday is going well so far!

I have another 'Less is More' card to share
with you today. It's a recipe this week and...

   SILHOUETTE

I pondered for a while, then looked at my
 stamps......then pondered some more!!!
Then realised my new stamps I was looking
 at would be ideal.....phew!

I painted a little watercolour scene then
stamped my images.Panic then ensued as
I realised the images were just too light.
These stamps are meant to be used as
 watercolour type images I think.

So a bit of Promarking ( hmm is that even
a word) and they looked a lot better. I added
a few footprints in the snow and a sentiment.

I added a bit of 'snow' too, alas the 'snow' stamp
didn't look right at all.Neither did the white spray
I had just bought!!! Drat......then I tried using my
white (very juicy) ink pad and a cocktail stick
and it looked ok.

A touch of glitter for the snowdrifts worked well
I think.  I still wasn't sure at all about the card,
....it almost went in the 'round' file.

However later when I saw it from a distance I
thought maybe it looked ok. So  here it is....you can
decide ;) I may be back with another soon though !

Enjoy your weekend/week whatever you have
 planned ;)

The glitter shows better here
