Thinking of you, scene card

Good morning lovely friends, I hope you are all
having a lovely Easter. We had a great time
yesterday with all our children and grandchildren.

The grandchildren enjoyed the usual egg hunt
in our garden (I made my grown up children do it
every year until their own children where old enough
to do it he he) I hid 16 small sized eggs
( so the littlest would find some) and 121 tiny ones!

We also did an Easter egg and spoon races this year.
I like to keep them all entertained. The adults
had to have a go too and the funniest one was
between our two sons as the eldest boy knocked
the egg from  his brother's spoon at the very
start and just ran to the finish, typical joker!

Oh and it made me smile as my two sons both
brought lots of take away clear boxes to take
home left over food lol. He he they know me
well, of course I did too much food as unsual.

Another smile too. One of our young grandsons
( he is just 3) was  saying goodbye to
our daughter (his aunt) and he just picked up
her hand and kissed it and said goodbye. Hmm
he will be a real charmer with the ladies I think!
His parents were just as surprised as we were too,
no idea where he picked that up from.

Everyone loved all the food I am pleased to
say and ate lots so it was all worth it.Btw.yes
the triple choc salted caramel  merangue went
down a storm too, just as well we weren't
 counting calories yesterday!

Anyway enough rambling, I have another
'Less is More'  card to share with you again.
It's a colour theme this week and ...

 Predominantly Black!

I used post it notes and distress inks to create
a little scene. A bit of stamping and job done.
My lovely OH made me this wooden board
to use for my photographs, wasn't that kind
 of him ;)

Craft room tidying is going well !
My OH also made me a little shelf thing
to put all my inks in too (pics soon).
Enjoy what's left of the Easter holidays, I
will be mostly resting today after a busy day
 yesterday.
