Blue and cream card

Good morning friends/bloggers, we have black stormy
clouds above as we speak. What a contrast from
yesterday as it was very hot and sunny.

Heavy rain and thunder now, oh my! at least we
managed our morning forest walk even if we did
have to do a quick jog back to the car when
the rain descended.

I have my usual 'Less is More' card to show you as
 it's Saturday once again.

This week the theme is a colour one and............

 The colours in your bedroom!

I am going to surprise you I think as my bedroom isn't PINK
( you know how I love my pink)
Infact it is mainly white, walls, sheets, quilt, bedside lights.

I do love white in a bedroom it looks so 'clean' looking.
I do have a blue carpet though, a kind of wedgewood blue
 colour.

The flower stem on my card is a good  match to my carpet
I think.Also my curtains are  a  cream colour  and I have a
few cream cushions too.

I have just been tempted by some beautiful 400 thread count
( really into what thread count bedding is lol) cream 100%
cotton sheets and pillow cases and quilt cover.Really fussy about
bedding ....ahem.

Anyway you get the picture as to my bedroom colour
scheme I think now. I did have the walls pale blue  fading
to white a while ago and I  hand painted white clouds
and a few tiny flying birds on one wall.

Sounds hideous I know but I think I did a good job
and everyone liked it who saw it. We decided it must revert
to plain white as we are thinking of selling the house soon.

Ok so here is my card, mainly white with some pale blue
and a few touches of cream.........and relax.
Ooops I forgot to mention I was showcased this week too.
Thank you so much for choosing my card :)

A very big welcome to my latest followers too, so pleased
you have chosen to follow me :)

ps. Sorry I am so late leaving comments for you all this
week. Hectic week with going out and unexpected visits
from the grandchildren I fear! I will visit you as soon as
I have finished this post I promise.

I love a clean crisp bedroom too Viv. Love your card, gorgeous colours and I love that die ( another for the wish list)
I promise I wont dye my hair green ( or any other colour) I`ve developed an allergy to hair dye so I`ve had to go gray gracefully, I did once go from blonde to brown and finished up with a dark green tint but thats a different story lol.

An elegant and restful card Viv, love the die and the tiny butterflies. I love good linen too and thought that if I won the lottery I would have someone put fresh linen on my bed every day:)

What a lovely card. Great colours. And yes I'm fussy about my thread counts too. Where did you get yours from, may I ask?

Viv said...

Thanks Mrs Harry..............Linens Limited. Bought from them before and always great quality and price, service a bit hit and miss but worth the hassle. £22.95 for a fitted sheet( 400 thread count) and that's Super King size ( not always easy to get), feels like silk too.......no relation/connection btw.HTH xx

I love blue and have what of that in my bedroom...but no whites; just sunny yellow and browns from the wood...
Those flower-dies are beautiful and so is the layout! Hope you're having a sunny weekend, Gerrina

Now then... I did imagine you'd have a pink bedroom!! LOL! But me neither weirdly enough... more beiges and browns - that makes me sound so 70's! Ah well... I'm loving your white and blue colour scheme.. blue is calming in a bedroom... and encourages sleep... so they say!

And me too about the threadcount.... will take a look at the company you order from..

Big hugs
