Mouse houses and some cute mice

Hi there friends, today I am sharing my latest hobby ......felting....mostly mice atm. as I seem obsessed by them lol. My clever OH even made me some mouse houses and he is making me more little mouse houses and other stuff now also.
Here are the first few mice I made....well I did attempt a couple more earlier but they looked more like mole rats lol....so I didn't finish them. I am still learning about which wool and which needles to use yet so please be kind ;)
I will be back to share more mice I have made very soon ;) They seem to be taking over the whole house now....oh dear...as if I needed yet another hobby...and supplies!!! wool, felt, needles...more wool...more wool for knitting clothes for them...what have I started !

Update! since I wrote this I have now made yet more mice and I think I am improving at last......thank heavens!!! More pics of the little mice soon ;)

Here the first two mice I made, meet Monty and Minnie! The whiskers were made from horse hair kindly donated from  our daughter's horse ;) I knitted the little jumper and felted the scarf.

This was my next effort, little Mickey and he is following Ickle mouse here...up to no good no doubt! I made the little backpack and my OH made me the ladder.

Here they are all together........hmm not great now I look at them and having made more. Still I just wanted a record of when I first started so posting them anyway.....cringe cringe!

Fuzzy hugs card

Hi there friends, I have another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. It's LIM's 9th birthday too, wow can't believe it's been 9 years, anyway wishing you all a very Happy 9th Birthday!

Their theme this time is 'Less (Tiny& Few)', so I found this cute mice stamp from the Fuzzy Hugs set and decided to use that. It's by Mama Elephant and the sentiment is by Altenew...I found it on one of their sets and thought it was just perfect to use with these sweet hugging mice!

I am in the middle of another big craft room sort out and that has taken up a great deal of my time this week. I have bought new pouches for my stamps and magnetic sheets for my dies and even a labeller and laminator to help.

 

The shelves are looking a lot tidier now anyway and I even found 'stuff' I had forgotten about too. More to do yet and of course and now I can't find stuff since it's been moved BUT it will all be worth it I am sure ;)

Cute bunnies card

Hi there friends, I am back with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again today. It's the dreaded 'One layer' card this time and 'Off Centre'.  I am determined to try and use all of my unused stamps this year......well most of them anyway!

Searching through my supplies I found these cute mice stamps and decided to give them a try. I coloured them using my Copics for a change. I am not great at using either Copics or colour pencils lol so please make allowances.

However I have been trying various brands of coloured pencils over the years to see which I like best. I have just purchased (Xmas present from my OH) a large set of Faber Castell pencils as I think I like those best. So you will be seeing me use those this year, along with my usual watercolours probably ;)
