Spots & Stripes card

Hi there friends, how is your Saturday going
so far? I have another 'Less is More' card
to share again.  It's the dreaded 'One layer'
card this week and......

'Spots & Stripes'

Not easy was my first thought! I looked at my
stamps and found some which looked suitable.
A plan was hatched ;)

How I managed to find anything now my
room is 'organised' I will never know lol!

I used an old set of stamps for the spots and
stripes. I have a new stamp set too ( surprise
surprise...note to self STOP buying stamps!!)
so used a sentiment from that also.

I bought this super Ombre ink pad recently,
I really love the colours so used that for most
of the design. I went for black for the sentiment
so it would stand out more.

A few enamel dots and the card was finished.
I made a page of the enamel dots, hmm not
easy to get them round I fear!

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have
planned ;) We are going for our usual
swimming session with our children and
the 'littlies'.

Anyway come and have a peek at my card
below ;)

ps. The craft room makeover is still ongoing!
it is looking a whole lot better though. Even
my OH mentioned how good is was looking.
He said he was spurred on to tidy his crafty
place too....result!

Just as well as our next big job is our large
back conservatory (where he mostly crafts).
We have arranged to have all the windows and
doors replaced. Happy days!!!...but I will have
to curb my stamp buying for a while alas!

My next job is to paint my craft room...gulp!
not looking forward to that at all!!!

Great how you used the stripes and splatters! Think this is a beautiful femine-grunge card!
(Still hadn't had any time to make a LIM-card so far myself; hope to do that today...) Hugs, Gerrina

Well you've proved that grungy can be beautiful! This is gorgeous, love the colours and the combination of stamps. It all just works brilliantly. I've just done a load of painting last week so don't envy you. Need to do lots of gloss but I've abandoned that idea for now as it's just no fun! :D
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
