Some woodwork for a change !
Hi everyone, here are a few things made by my
lovely talented husband. Hope you enjoy looking
at them all.
I intended to add just a few but after a request by
my dear friend Jackie.........here are quite a few ;)
Wood Basket to go with our woodburner.
(he just couldn't find one in the shops he liked,
so he designed his own).
You can see how strong it is and how much it holds.
Here it is without the wood.
Egg holder (my request)
The shelves are loose for ease of use.
Silver Birch Candle holders ( my request)
He made the shelf below them to go with the
fire surround and our beams which he also made himself.
Tall matches holder ( top 4 rings come off)
Yew wood match holder
Yew vase
Another vase, hollow inside but hard to see here.
Two vases inside each other, marked for further painting
(excuse the dust)
Some painted vases
Apples, they all come apart.
Vase
Plate
Plate
Oops forgive the dust, found it in his workroom!
Same plate as above
Tall Yew vase
Tall vase
2 vases .....earlier work
Dish
Gavel
Selection of items
Various painted mushrooms
Please excuse all the bottles, it was Xmas I believe.
Latest bench for our garden
Wet from rain here but waterproof after so many coats of stain.
Two more benches and a table
Twisty walking sticks
This is all, hope you enjoyed looking :)

WOW! Your husband is so clever! I really do love items made of natural wood, we have a carved apple and pear which I frequently stroke!
Thank you for sharing.

Wow wow wow ! They are all amazing Viv what a very talented husband you have. I love wood left in it`s natural state and you pay a fortune in the shops for this sort of thing. Love the vases and the apples are stunning. Oooh just love everything.

Thank you Viv, what a wonderful selection, Colin is so clever. My favourite pieces are the colourful mushrooms and those wonderful sticks, but I really love the one you have labelled 'another vase'.
With your stunning cards and jewellery and Colin's superb woodwarling skills, I'm surprised you haven't opened a studio shop! :o)
Hugs to you both, Jackie xx
