Cup of tea card
Hi lovely blogging friends, how are you all today ?
I think Autumn has started here, a definite nip in the
air now.
Here is this week's 'Less is More' card from me.
It's one layer card week and the theme is....
BEVERAGES
I used a digi I found in my stash from BeyondTheFringe
called 'Stacked cups'. Ideal I thought as I do love a nice
cuppa, Earl Grey to be exact ! I also like a nice Cappuccino
too (partial to a freebie from Waitrose) but going with
tea for today here I think.
I do love pretty little tea cups, esp. with roses on. I have
some very old ones I inherited but mostly tea sets
which I don't use.
Although I love them I plan on selling most and getting
just odd pretty ones I love.I have a beautiful cabinet to
put them in filled with all sorts of inherited bits and
pieces atm.
Nice to be able to have our own things in it I think now.
My OH loves Royal Worcester but it has got so expensive
now as the Japanese love it too it seems.
Ooops sorry... I seem to have gone off on a tangent lol.
Here is my card anyway........well after this quick moan :)
ps. Handy hint ! just to add, anyone thinking about buying a new
toilet or bathroom suite. Make sure you buy a toilet with a
NORMAL shaped seat. We just had to replace ours
( just the seat) ......£162.46.......yikes!
I know......I know ,but had no choice in the end. Cheap one
we thought would fit...didn't and then broke. We had
already thrown the manky hinges away so couldn't put
old ones back.
New hinges we bought and tried didn't fit so.................:(

Super cute ! Those cups are so adorable :)
SUCH a perfect LIM card, again, Vee! Your sweet stack of teacups is so perfect with the lined partial frame around your sediment! Thanks for sharing the tip on the toilet lid! Hugs, Darnell
Ooh love the frame and sentiment added Viv, really sets off your image
Whatever shape was the loo seat?! New meaning to 'bog standard' here I think hee hee
Thank you for joining our challenge this week at LIM

Hi Viv loving the stack of beautifully coloured cups, they look 3D with the shadow:) has to be Yorkshire tea for me I'm afraid I can't get near Earl Grey for the perfume. Jim bought me one by mistake at the airport last year, he obviously misheard, didn't make a good start to our trip!!! ;0)
I'm intrigued to know what strange shape your toilet is :0)

Love your posts Viv and still giggling about your loo seat story!
But back to the card which is fantastic, love the stack of cups, beautifully coloured and perfectly CAS.
Thanks so much for sharing and taking part.

Love this card Viv. Really clever how you've created the border and greeting using the computer. Karen x
