By the Sea card

Good evening friends/bloggers, I hope you all had
a good day today.I am late with my 'LIM' card as
we were on babysitting duties today.

A tiring day but also a very enjoyable one also :)
Lana is crawling now so I was kept very busy lol.
Anyway here it is, I just had time to finish it and
get it photographed this evening. I am using my
new watercolour card too.

The theme this time is.....

"We have another song theme which this time is...
I do like to be beside the seaside!
Anything with a reference to the sea or the
beach or things nautical will be fine as long as
your creation is Clean and Simple!"

Just a few layers of Distress ink to resemble the sea
( I hope) and a bit of added twine and stamping.
Loving the blues, makes a change from pink for me
anyway lol :)

The  seahorse and sequins just added a bit of
interest too  I think. Hope it qualifies as CAS
 enough for LIM.

Hmm don't look at the card edge .In my haste I
forgot to flatten the watercolour card before
I attached it to the base card ooops !

ps.I am hugely pleased to see my lovely friend Dee
(Darnell) is guest designer this week over at LIM.

If you  haven't visited her before you are in for a real
treat......Go visit and get  tea/coffee and biscuits ready
as you will be there for ages lol.
Just to add I have been truly blown away lately
with  all the talent of my fabulous crafting friends I see
on blogs I visit. You are all awesome and I am so
proud to call you my friends :) hugs V xx

Absolutely beautiful Viv! Love the blues and as Sylvia said the separation of the panels is so effective. Seahorses are fascinating too and the setting for your card is perfect as usual :-)

Viv, this card is beautiful. If you didn't say that you've forgotten to flatten the watercolour paper, I wouldn't notice it! It is real CAS!

Oh, Vee, I think you've done it this time. This is an absolute masterpiece! I love how you've cut your beautiful ocean watercolor paper, the sediment is, of course, making me swoon with delight, and that seahorse embellie? Well, mwah! I'm pinning this one! (And thank you for the sweet compliments, my friend!)

Wait. What? I can't believe Lana is already crawling!!! Hugs, Dee

A stunning card! So beautiful how you made this with so less materials; it is a winner I think! That seahorse is gorgous... Hope you can enjoy some sun this week, gerrina

Great card Viv. Love the little seahorse charm - my son just started in Seahorse class at his school today so we're going to be seeing a lot of them this year :-)
