Pink bow card
Good afternoon everyone, I hope all is well in your world.
I have a second 'Less is More' card to show you today.
The theme this week over at 'LIM' is a recipe and
'Use a recycled item'. My recycled item is a fabulous
pink ribbon !
My daughter gave me this marvellous glass container full
of Rose bath oil by Dior. It smelt divine too, all gone now
alas!
I couldn't bring myself to throw the pretty glass container out
and it still sits in my spare bathroom, I may fill it with
more bath foam.
Anyway I digress, around it was the most gorgeous pink
chiffon ribbon. I have been wondering what to do with it for
ages now.
In truth I didn't want to cut it, but I summoned up the courage
and used it on this card. Ahem.........I will probably keep it
now too lol.
I used one of the freebie sentiments the lovely Chrissie made
recently. Thank you Chrissie they print beautifully too.
I used some old eye shadow around the heart shape ( more
recycling) and a bit of old tinsel I found to suspend it from
the bow itself.
A tiny heart gem finished it off and also went with the tiny hearts
embossed on the heart shape too.
I will show you the lovely glass container below also :)
Apologies for the long post AGAIN !, just scroll straight to
the card if you like, I will understand !
Also a very big welcome to yet another follower Marcy.
Thank you so much for choosing me to follow :)
Hope you like the large blousy bow :)
ps. Our son has just finished his usual yearly cycle around our
part of the coast.....250 miles over 3 days ! He says it was
very hard this time, I wonder if it will be his last one?
Also I have been in the wars today :( Another 'fast' day and
doing well so far, not eaten much. I have started using my
Wii excercise machine again, had a quick forest walk and
also started day 1 of the 30 day 'plank' challenge (google it).
So far so good..............
All was going well when my OH asked me to help him in the
garden with a ratchet thingummy. He is taking small tree stumps
out. Anyway before I could help a large VERY heavy metal
mesh type frame which was leaning against a tree fell on my leg.
Arghhhh, not good, my leg is very badly scraped/cut in several
sections! I look a real site and it HURTS !!! OH was really upset
he had asked me to help at all now of course.
On the plus side my lovely navy jeans weren't damaged at all !
Lets just say I will be wearing either jeans or a long dress for a
while now lol.
