Just for You card

Good morning everyone, what happened to our sunny
weather ? Dull here today, oh well I will just have to
make cards then  :)

It's 'One layer' card week over at 'Less is More' and
also  'OFF THE EDGE'.

Hmm my mojo has been a bit hit and miss lately, but
luckily this idea just 'evolved'..........and relax.
I stamped the straight lines in light blue ink, then added
some darker blue distress ink. Then I stamped my
flowers in black and added some purple watercolouring
to the flowers.

I used my new Clearly Besotted sentiment stamp too
( loving these). I get so excited when I see the pretty
pink wrapping paper these stamps arrive in.

Mine arrived next day too, what great service.
Anyway back to my card lol, I know it's one layer
card week but I just had to add these little gems as
they matched so perfectly.

Hope I am forgiven :)

Handy tip, when stamping and using dark colours, don't
wear white trousers!! ......disaster struck me and  mine
are now in the wash after much stain removal yikes !

Have a great weekend whatever you have planned.

I am also entering this card in the NBUS challenge
HERE as my lovely talented friend Darnell ( who I call
Dee) has reached 500 followers. Wow not that I am at
all  surprised as she is so amusing too, go and visit her !

Oooh and there are also prizes to be won....what's not
to like!

NBUS stands for ' Never before used shtuff' btw.
Ahem I think we all are guilty of having some of that.
This flower stamp is an example, I wanted it, I needed it,
.........but have I used it..........er well no not until now!

Her challenge theme is 'Anything goes' and  also a 'friendship'
theme. I hope my 'Just for you' is ok, I will be sending it to a
friend anyway :)

You really can make splodges look FABULOUS Viv!! If I did something like this... it would just look like splodges! But then again... it's the same with flower arranging... my sister used to be able to plonk flowers in a vase and they looked perfect... I do it and they look PLONKED!! hehe! Such is life...

Love, love, love this card Viv, stunning! I'm in awe of the way you use those grunge stamps and the colours are beautiful together:) If the stains don't come out you could use the grunge stamps all over for a different look:) Shame about the pool but a spa sounds fab we had one in France a couple of years ago and they are so relaxing.

What a beautiful card! I love the colours you chose and the watercolour effect is stunning. I've been to scared to try watercolouring but have some distress inks coming in the mail and you've inspired me to give it a go. Mojo is a funny thing. A week ago I started making cards after two weeks of no ideas and I've now been making them everyday. Sometimes a break gives you a chance to relax and come up with new things and from what I can see with this card, your Mojo is in high gear!!!

Ah, Vee, my little card artist extraordinaire! I looked at this stunning scene and could just picture the edge of your garden flower arrangement framed by the raining hitting the window behind it. I call that art and I'm awed by your talent!

Thank you for joining in my NBUS challenge, posting my button, and spreading the word! I especially appreciated your kind words and return them to you tenfold! Mwah! Dee

(Um, and thanks for making my NBUS Mountain grow even higher with your gushing about CB stamps! I'm seeing that same enthusiasm on other blogs. Doggone it!!)
