Just couldn't resist making another card today, I
am a hopeless addict of this site now as you can
probably see from my blog.
If you could only see the mess I have made in
my craft room!!! The 'Less is More' challenge
again, 'recipe' which is 'take three challenges', so
to use previous challenges there as inspiration.
I used week 5 pastel colours,week 13 'Thank
you or Congratulations ' & week 15 'embossing'.
I seem to have pink on the brain at the moment,
( no change there my friends would quickly say).
I think it is wondering if my expected grandbabies
are girls as my sons seem to think...well the eldest
son and my DIL who is expecting with my youngest
son think so...... the respective partners aren't sure.
Anyway I digress!!!!! here is my pink card, tent
fold ( yes managed it this time). I embossed some
cute daisies on the base card and chalked the daisies
with white chalk ( after much experimenting with nail
file first then chalk). I used computer generated wording,
Augusta Cancelaresca Swash font ( top & bottom bits)
& Calamity Jane NF font middle bit.I cut the wording
out using my new nesties ( labels 20),.. love them! Then I
used 'spun sugar' TH distress ink to shade the background.
It was all edged with a Copic ( tender pink)& some glamour
dust just inside too( hard to see, so I did a closeup). Some
lovely white silk ribbon finished it all off. I am quite pleased
with this card, looks a tad paler irl. I think I will make one in
blue now also with different embossing as I am liking this new
nesty shape so much, think you will be seeing many more cards
using that lol.
ps. I put two tiny babies feet in the corners of the background
too if you look really hard :O)

Very elegant and pretty. Great combo. Thanks for the info on the ribbon wire. Do you just cut it and shape it?
Love your goldfish on your blog too.
Yes I do Laura, it's very soft, you can make it 'stay' a bit better in shape by using hairspray I am told.Viv xx
