Here is my second and last effort for this weeks 'Less is More' challenge. You wouldn't believe what a job I had with the top of this card lol.I tried to use my new MS punch on this thinnish card for the top but it got jammed in, so had to resort to punching hearts all along to create this ripped/rippled effect lol.I used my fancy scissors for the other layers( lesson learnt). Then I made another piece for the bottom and put a strip of acetate between the two.I used a lovely crab apple blossom image from the very talented Ruth over at ' A passion for stamps'. I coloured it with Copics then I decoupaged the top flower and glittered it with glamour dust , then stuck it to the acetate. I stamped direct to card for the sentiment at the bottom ( getting more used to doing this now), so I just stamped and prayed lol.Hope you like it, I was quite pleased with this one....nightmare to photograph again but I did my best.
ps. Look at the Tulips on previous page, so breathtaking!!!

Lovely card, I like the torn edges mixed with the acetate, really effective.
Another gorgeous card - the effort was well worth it! xx
How brave b- two cards with acetate!! both good but I like the butterfly one best!!
Whoops - sorry about the b- my fingers went wild by the looks of things!!
I looked at your card last night when I got back from a day with my daughter and grandchildren, I thought I had commented but I think I must have fallen asleep in the chair before I managed to write it!
It was very ingenious to use a different punch to achieve the effect you wanted... very clever.
It's another super card VIv!

I love the punched effect on your card - has such great texture. The flower is so pretty and I like the dimension too! Fab card!
