The Flower Challenge #50 Reminder

Hi there friends, I am back once again with my reminder card for 'The Flower Challenge'. This month it's  'Use a Sentiment', such an easy one!

I made two cards again, for the first card I used a stencil again Altenew 'Feathery stencil'. I used some Distress inks on my stencil, then stamped my flower image (Hollyhocks?...sorry no name on it) in black.

Next I used the same Distress inks to gently colour my flowers and leaves. I added my sentiment (from same stamp set) and also a few clear raindrops.

For my second card I used this lovely 'Paint a Flower' Iris stamp by Altenew...as soon as I saw it I just HAD to buy it!....well you just do don't you lol.

I used a stencil (can't find which one now) it looks like crazy paving though. Then I water coloured with DI's for my background. Next I stamped my flowers and water coloured those also. I stamped my sentiment from the same set, first doing the same background again.

The edges were all cut using some Gemini dies 'Torn Edge Rectangles', a sprinkling of sequins and it was finished ;) It looks a little washed out here, the background was a bit darker.

Thanks again for the visit, and do come again soon ;)

Please use this cue card below when entering our challenge,
you have until the 25th November.

The Flower Challenge #50 Use a Sentiment

Hi there friends, how did it get to be November already?...not mentioning the C word just yet...but it's closing in on us. I am smiling a bit smugly here as I have actually bought all of my presents already yeaaaah! I just like to get them all sorted or it's too much stress! Still got to wrap them yet though!...and make my cards too!

Anyway this month over at 'The Flower Challenge' our challenge this time is another easy one and 'Use a Sentiment', how easy is that ;)

I made two cards in the end as I wasn't sure about the first one I made (see 2nd card here). I used the same stamp again and water coloured in shades of purple/blue/green this time. I embossed in silver once more but stamped a large Hello for my sentiment this time. A few 'splatters' of matching paint and  some black gems and my card was finished.

For my 2nd card (which was the first card I made of course......are you still with me lol) I used an Altenew stamp 'Statement Flowers', embossed is Wow Silver e/p then water coloured it all. I then added my sentiment and a few sequins scattered here and there and it was complete.

I am also adding a new graphic I made for 'The Flower Challenge', it shows all the new team for 2020. We have had a few changes lately and I thought it was about time I made a new graphic. Such a lovely and talented team they are too ;) See it below my cards.

Okay come and see my cards, I hope you like them, thanks for the visit and I hope you come again soon. Stay safe and well too my lovely friends ;)
