Hi there friends, today I am sharing another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it has to be either 'Blue and Silver or Red and Gold'so I opted for Red and Gold. Just realized it matches my header too whoo hoo!
I used my new Tim Holtz deckle edge trimmer for my topper. It's sounds bit harsh and 'cranky'...(is that the right word?) when you use it btw. not a smooth action I would say but I do like the effect it gives. Impulse buy again arghh! I also used my Hero Arts Joy die and some gold card for the sentiment, the 'wishing you' part is from the same set and stamped in red.
I also stamped the tiny holly leaves and berries (again from same set) and fussy cut and I added some roughly cut tiny holly leaves from the same gold card as an extra. Very fiddly lol, but I think it worked.
Then I added a sprinkling of red and gold sequins and a few 'dots' using a gold gel pen (hope it shows here). I edged the deckle edge parts using a red Copic pen also for interest and it was done!
So sorry I seem to be so late leaving return comments these days but running The Flower Challenge and being on the RachelVassDesign team is keeping me very busy these days alas! I do appreciate each and every comment though and thank you so much my lovely friends.
