Hi there crafty friends, I hope you are all keeping well, can't believe it's December already! Are you all ready for Xmas ?... I think I am. Hoping we will all be able to meet our relatives at long last together, fingers crossed anyway.
I am here to share another card for the new challenge over at 'The Flower Challenge' again and this time our theme is 'Add Embellishments', how easy is that!
I made this Christmas card using this gorgeous flower by Altenew 'Festive Poinsettia'. I have been looking at this for ages...since last Xmas I think!... and just had to buy it in the end.
I stamped and gold embossed my flower image and die cut it. Then I water coloured the flower using DI's. I used some wide gold sparkly tape for my background and added my flower and my gold embossed sentiment. A sprinkling of red sequins and gold pearls completed my card.
I highlighted the sentiment with a gold sparkle pen too around the edge for interest. So I think I used quite a few 'embellishments' on my card.
Hope you will check out all the fabulous cards made by our DT, visit our gallery and also maybe take part too.
Back with more cards very soon ;)
