I decided to use this amazing flower die, not even sure I have used it before...maybe once! but I have had it for quite a while now. This time I used the pixelating technique I first saw used by Pooja from 'Reusingwithquilling'. It wasn't the easiest of cards to make I must admit but I do like the effect it gives.
I did a slight twist though and kept my flower image non pixelated to make it stand out more. Yes... and all the little squares were hand drawn and then painted individually too. Won't be making a lot of these me thinks lol!

I went for red and green as Christmas colours were in my mind, as it's December I did make another Xmasy card too. Ok come and see my cards.....and of course...enjoy your week whatever you have planned ;)
Pixelated Flower card
Sheena Douglass White card
AltENew Beautiful Lady stamp and sentiment (old one)
Pencil & ruler (for grid lines)
TH Distress inks, Candied Apple, Bundled Sage & Forest Moss
Versafine Onyx Black ink
I made my A6 top fold card base, then stamped my flower image direct to my card base. I then drew vertical and horizontal lines using my pencil and ruler all over my card front.
I coloured my flower and leaves first, then painted each square with similar colours, allowing some to blend around the flower part. I stamped my sentiment, coloured it to match the flower and attached it to my card. A sprinklng of sequins and my card was complete.
Xmas card
Smooth White card
AltENew Poinsettia & Pine stamp set (old one)
Penny Black sentiment (old one)
Neat & Tangled sequins
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Kuretake & Gansai Water colours
Promarkers and Copics
I made my A6 card base and stamped and coloured my flower image. I stamped my flower image again and cut out the middle parts to add as decoupage. I stamped my leaves direct to my card and then added my flower, raising the middle part up using 3d pads. I added my stamped sentiment after colouring the edge using my Copic pen and then added a few matching sequins.
Please use our cue card below when entering our challenge.
You have until the 25th December to enter.
