The Flower Challenge #67 Add a Heart

Hi friends, can't believe it's now April! ...wow where did March go? Hope you are all doing ok?
I am back to share more cards  and another challenge over at 'The Flower Challenge'.

This month it's 'Add a Heart', as well as the usual flowers of course too. I made two cards in the end, one is a 'hidden' heart, I hope you spot it ;)

Easter is looming now of course, what have you got planned? anything ? I am doing our usual family get together and big Easter egg hunt for the littlies too of course ;)

I made an orange and white chocolate cake recently...... as requested by our grandson! then forgot to take a pic ......BUT  then my other grandson requested a lemon cake and I remembered to take a pic this time. See the bottom of this post ;)

The cakes looked very similar really, except I used orange icing and buttercream and white chocolate buttons on the bits of cream around the edge. and white and yellow choc stars in the middle.
The lemon one has gold stars and little balls, lemon curd in as well as buttercream.... I candied the lemons too ...well some ate them lol ;)

Anyhoo do come and see my cards below and enjoy your day/week whatever you have planned ;)

ps. I made an extra card later on as I wanted to use the blue and yellow colours of Ukraine and also use the new watermark I had designed too. I am sharing that card first this time. I am posting my sunflower heart again at the bottom.....I fear it may be in my posts for a while now ;(

Supplies

Watercolour card
TH Distress inks
The Ton Peony Close Up cling stamp
Wow white E/P
Altenew Clear embossing ink
Spellbinders heart die
Altenew sentiment
Yellow sequins

Supplies

White Linen card
Photo card
TH Alcohol inks
WPlus9 Christmas Rose Bouquet stamp
Avery Elle heart die
Clear Embossing ink
Wow White Embossing powder
Altenew sentiment
Spectrum Noir sparkle pen

I made another alcohol ink panel in shades of blue this time. I splattered some water drops on it for a bit of contrast. I stamped my flowers and embossed them in white. Then I cut my heart shape and attached it using 3d pads. I used an Altenew sentiment and added a few white pearls, also a bit of shimmer all over using  my sparkle pen.

Card Three

I made this card first but wasn't sure about it once it was finished, (still not keen lol) but sharing it anyway and using it as my spare ;)

You have until the 25th April to enter our challenge,
please add our cue card below when entering, thank you ;)
