The Flower Challenge #60 Colour Turquoise
Hi crafty friends, September is here already, wow that went by quickly! I am here to share another card for 'The Flower Challenge' again today. As you can see by the title it's a Colour one this time and 'Turquoise'.
Our Guest Designer this month is our previous winner for May and the very talented Kailash. Do check out her cards on Instagram and see her beautiful card on our FC blog too.
Come and see my card below and of course enjoy your week whatever you have planned ;)
ps. It's also our 5th Birthday next month, so watch out for lots of surprises then too!
After making my A6 card base I made a topper and used my Neat & Tangled 'Rice Paddies' stencil and my TH distress ink for a background. Next I stamped with my Altenew 'Statement Flower' stamp in black ink and then framed it all with the Spellbinders Venise Lace Hemstitch rectangles. A few tiny black gems completed my card.

Pretty stencilling and a beautiful card Viv, with a great way to incorporate the gorgeous Turquoise x.
Vivien, the stencil looks like ripples of water, this is a lovely way to add color to your beautiful flowers.
Awesome card, teammate.
XO
Stay healthy and safe.
I love how you used the stencil to colour the front looks amazing xx
such a great idea to stencil a background in turquoise and then add your stamp over, pretty framing too!
I love how you designed the background in blue, then stamped the flower outline on top! It's a beautifully framed card, perfect for so many occasions!
lovely card, viv!
This is such a lovely technique Viv. I love the texture that beautiful stencilled background gives and then the uncoloured image over the top. Vicky x
I recently used that flower in a similar way, Viv. The large size lends itself to leaving it uncolored over a fabulous background like the one you created.
Love the background Viv and the way you created your card. Gorgeous!
