LIM #452 Hexagons

Hi there crafty friends, back with another quick card for the 'Less is More' challenge. Been away on a little break to the Lake District so I missed the last challenge grrr.

Trying to catch up with blogging, gardening, appointments and various bits since we got back, phew just about caught up now I think.

Anyway here is my card below, their recipe was 'Hexagons' this time, as I just bought some new hexagon dies what better time to use them!

I will try to include a few pics of our trip away at the end too, weather wasn't great as you can see.... but we had a great time away with friends and relatives.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned ;)

First I made an A6 card base then cut my hexagons (Waffle flower set) using an alcohol background I made earlier.

Next I stamped my tree (Lavinia) on the card and also stamped it on the hexagons too. I added the hexagons to my card using 3d pads on the smallest one.

My sentiment was an Altenew one again and I edged it in green and added a few black gems to finish it off.

Beautiful card, Viv ! Love those AI hexagon die cuts with these gorgeous and bold green shades. They beautifully ground the black tree. Wonderful CAS take on our challenge. Thanks for sharing and for playing along at LIM.
PS: beautiful pictures too, looks so quiet and peaceful !
