The Flower Challenge #26 'A Special Occasion'

Hi there friends, I am here once more to share my latest DT card for 'The Flower Challenge'. I can't believe it's November already......it will soon be Christmas, ...are you ready.......no me neither lol!

Anyway onto my card, this month our theme is 'A Special Occasion', so Birthday, Christmas, Anniversary, New Baby...so many options. See all the cards made by our talented Design Team if in doubt.

Right onto my cards, I made two in the end, do come and have a closer look...and of course enjoy your week whatever you have planned ;)

I made my card base and another panel to go on top. I then stamped and embossed my flowers  and leaf. After that I watercoloured my flowers. I stamped my sentiment on another strip of spare card and added some watercolour to the edges then attached it to my card. A sprinklng of sequins and my card was complete.

 I made an A6 top fold card base and then added another smaller panel on top. I used my inks over my stencil, blending the colours as I went. Then I used my pencils to add some shading to my flowers.

Not used to using pencils so I went gently...need more practice I fear lol , but I did enjoy the process.

I added my stamped sentiment and my usual sprinkling of sequins and my card was finished.
