Roses card sets

Hi there, how is your weekend going so far? I am just catching up with some card making after not feeling that well for the past week. So lovely to be in my craft room again ! I am taking it easy yet so decided to just make a few digital cards this time.

I love these pretty roses (from my stash, I collect a lot of flower digi's) and couldn't resist making a couple of sets of cards for my two lovely sister-in-laws. We are meeting soon and we always exchange little gifts, so this is part of theirs. The images were already coloured btw. so it made it  easier this time. I did do the arranging of the flowers myself and also add a matching watercolour splash behind them  and computerised sentiment too.

I made a set of three cards with different sentiments on and another slightly different one with no sentiment at all. I also made matching inserts and a matching envelope liner too while I was at it. I will put some scented tumble drier sheets inside for a while to make them all smell nice for giving. I either use those or some nice smelling soap...handy tip!
Hmm now I think about it I do have some Jo Malone 'Roses' perfume, I may just spray a tissue and use that instead. They may get some scented candles and jewellery too,(red stones maybe to keep the theme alike??) ...if I can find my jewellery bits again since doing a major craft room sort out that is lol. Looks like I am thinking aloud now too...oh my!

Ok come and have a peek at my cards, the first photo is more realistic colour wise. It's so hard to get good photographs just now as the light isn't great. Thanks for visiting me again and enjoy your weekend/week whatever you have planned ;)

This is the plain card and matching envelope liner.
I added some glitter to the roses on the card too ;)
