The Flower Challenge #16 'Spotlight stamping'

Hi there friends, I am back with my latest DT card for 'The Flower Challenge' once again. This time our theme is 'Spotlight stamping'.

I think this is such an effective technique, it's mostly a black and white stamped image and then a small amount is 'highlighted' like a spotlight  somewhere on the card. It can be a coloured image too with a brighter part in the 'spotlight' area. See what my teamies have made too for a few ideas ;)

This is what I came up with anyway, I was happy when I found this sentiment. The word heart was in it and as I had planned to use a heart shape to 'spotlight' my coloured part too...... happy days ;)

Flowers, heart, CAS, TFC

 Smooth white card
WPlus9 'Christmas Rose bouquet' stamp
Spellbinders heart nestie die
Penny Black 'Happy Wishes' stamp sentiment
Gamsai Tambi paints
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Glamour dust

I made an A6 top fold card base and made a topper by cutting a slightly smaller piece of card.
Then I stamped my image in black and used my heart die to cut part of my image. I coloured
the smaller image using my paints and then added it back to my stamped image using some
small 3d pads. I added some sparkle with my Glamour dust. I stamped my sentiment and added
my topper to my card base.

Please use our cue card below when entering our challenge, thank you ;)
You still have until the 25th January to enter.
