Joy & Love cards

Hi everyone, another hot and sunny day here today again.
It's week 84 over at 'Less is More' and it's one layer card
week with the theme this time being ...............
Foliage
I made two quite different cards this time. For the first one
I  printed some foliage around the edges of the card. Then I
added a quote from Mother Teresa. For the second card
I looked for a font with some leaves and printed the word
Love. I stamped some leaves over the L and glittered the
leaves on the letter L. I thought it wasn't quite finished off
so I used my new folder to emboss all over the card for
more interest. I would also have added a lovely white silk
bow to the top part, if it was not one layer card week, so
just imagine that part please. Hmmm maybe some tiny
white pearls to the centres of the embossing too.The
second card is my  favourite I think but you choose !

  8. These are both so pretty, I like the first one with the fresh greens, and the second one for its elegant simplicity, lots of work but still CAS, a fab design.

  14. Two lovely cards, Viv. I love the lovely, soft, watercolour effect of the first, and I love the embossing on the second. I've just ordered this folder myself and can't wait for it to arrive. I really like how you incorporate your stamped images with the embossing. I've noticed it on a few of your cards. I never thought of doing it this way. Will be giving it a go. Sue.x
