More 'LIM' GD cards

Hi there friends, I am back to share more cards for the 'Less is More' challenge again. Their theme is 'Water' (in any of it's forms, snow, ice, mist etc.) and I am lucky to be their Guest Designer this time too.

My first two cards were very similar and I used raindrops as my theme. This time I am going with 'sea' and 'snow' for my last two cards. Hope you will try and join in with this challenge, some lovely cards in the gallery already and beautiful examples made by the talented  DT there too.

Anyway here are my cards, so come and have a quick nosey. Apologies for my lack of commenting recently but I have had more stomach problems lately. Also computer problems which isn't helping either lol. I seem to be ok now though so will be visiting you all very soon ;)

So sorry 'LIM' are losing Trina  as their team member but wish her well and would also like to welcome Kylie Michelle and Stephanie. Such a great addition to their team.

Of course  as always ...enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned ;)

Let it Snow card

Hi there, I see it's the weekend yet again....the weeks fly by so quickly don't they? the weather is being kind to us for Autumn in the UK...let's hope Winter is just as mild now.

I am happy to report that all my Xmas cards are now made and I have also bought all my Xmas pressies too. Ok don't hate me for that  lol ! Makes me so much less stressed when I have all that sorted before the mad rush starts. Just got to address the cards and wrap the pressies and I am all set...happy days !

Anyway you are here to see my card I am assuming so here it is below. Another one for the 'Less is More' challenge which is 'Metallics' this time. Funnily enough I had just finished making some cards with snowflakes on (will post them soon) but using sparkly glitter card...so not metallic really. Anyway I quickly made a similar one using some shiny silver card this time. Hope you all approve ;)

I made this card in between making a cheese and onion pie for us all tomorrow and a lemon tart too. Lots of dashing back and forth to the kitchen and then my craft room and then trying to get pics taken at the right time with sun etc. I was like a whirling dervish...you would have laughed I am sure. I will add pics of my baking at the bottom if you are nosey ;)

Of course .....enjoy your week whatever you have planned !...I plan on tidying my craft room as it looks like a bomb dropped just now lol !!

So hard to get a proper photo of shiny card grrrr!...I know everyone will be saying that this time though ;)

Rose card

Hi there friends, it's been such a busy Summer for me and I haven't been posting very much lately. However I do hope to be making lots more cards and sharing them all with you very soon ;)

Here is my latest card for the 'Less is More' challenge once more. This time they want to see cards made with 'Black, White + One Other Colour'.

I bought this lovely rose stamp recently and was dying to use it. I was going to add colour to it at first but then thought it looked more CAS in simple black and white. I added a few bright pink sparkly sequins to add some colour, hope you all approve.

Enjoy your week/weekend whatever you have planned. After time away, many trips to the beach, having grandchildren for sleep overs and various other activities over the Summer it's nice to just relax at last. Also my craft room needs a serious tidying up too ;)

Anyway here is my card.....

ps. Thanks to 'LIM' for choosing to  showcase my Sketch card  too ;)

Black Rose card

Hi there friends, just popping in with another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again. This time it's a sketch, looks easy but I was fresh out of ideas this time. Luckily this simple idea jumped in my head after a lot of time just looking at stamps etc.

I just stamped my image then die cut  it into 4 pieces then added the sentiment...and job done!

It's warmer here today and we are enjoying a bit of sun again,....enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned, we are swimming again ;)

ps. Sharing a few pics of some of the food I made for our recent family party below. The choc, raspberry, strawberry pavlova went down very well....too well infact everyone had 2 helping and was stuffed lol!

Ahem and yes I did throw all sorts of chocolate on top lol.....well our daughter said yes just go for it when I asked her about which chocolate to add. Also a mahoosive flan ...12" (new recipe and new quiche tin.....liking it too) oh and a coffee cake for our son's birthday.

Sorry if this has left you feeling hungry now too ;)
