RVD Darling Flowers

Hi crafty friends, it's time for the latest May digi release from RachelVassdesigns. Today I am using the beautiful 'Darling Flowers' digi image, .....it's so lovely! As always see Rachels Etsy shop to buy anything, link above !
I decided on a pink and grey colour combo and made a tall and CAS type card for a change. Come and have a peek at it below.... thanks for the visit and enjoy your day whatever you have planned  ;) 
I have been doing more Spring cleaning today.... sorting wardrobes... lots of bags of clothes for charity now, scrubbing floors and washing windows (we have two large sun lounges back and front... so a LOT of large windows)....does it never end arghh!...I love how tidy and clean the house looks now though...and relax ;)

I made a very tall card this time, 7 1/2 x 4 " " (19 1/2cm x just over 10 cm) tall in fact. I cut a 7 1/2 " strip of card then added an almost 8 1/2" strip of card. I folded 1/2 " at the top and stuck it to my shorter strip.

I printed my flowers, and coloured them  using water colours (Altenew), then pencils added more shading. Then I cut the flowers and attached them to my card base using 3d pads. I added my printed sentiment strip (I altered the colour digitally to fade from pink, yellow and purple). I coloured around the strip in a matching Copic pen. 

A strip of pink glitter card was added below the sentiment for more interest. A sprinkling of pink metallic sequins and my card was complete ;)
