Wonderful day card

Hi everyone, just a quick post to show you another 'Less is More' card. This week it's......     'One Layer' & 'Anything Goes'     Yes I know it's YET another pink one, what can I say. I seem to be drawn to making pink ones! (btw. see new pic of my cutie granddaughter.... wearing pink of course lol).        I know you will understand Christine he he ;)        

      I used an Inkadinkado flourish stamp and a Hobby Art sentiment. I sponged with Momento  'Angel Pink'  ink and coloured the flowers/leaves  using Promarkers.        A couple of embossed lines completed the card. I decided to add a few pen line squiggles as an afterthought......as you do. Hmm which do you  like best?        

      ps. I am still dabbling with making digi pages, this is  my latest effort.         Trying a bit of 'OOB'ing, ( Out of boundaries), took bloomin' ages and I may just be addicted now too...oh my!        

      Btw. I will be adding some  sentiments etc. I made soon. Thought I may as well share as I know I like a nice  freebie too :)        If they are liked I will do it on a regular basis maybe, let me know if you want them !      

Orange and Yellow Happy Birthday card

Good morning friends/bloggers, it's a sunny day here for a change although a very windy one.      So much rain day after day, no end in sight either.  I  really feel for all those who have been badly  affected  by all the flooding.Stay safe everyone !       Saturday is here again so it's time for another 'Less is More' card of course. This week  it's ..........

'ONE LAYER' & 'Anything Goes'


I was awake quite early and before I knew it, even before I had got dressed I came up with this idea.      OH then dragged me away for our usual walk in the woods before I could take a photo or upload it....so annoying!!!! I did get dressed first  ......incase you were wondering lol.     Oh my this is turning into a long post  now.... sorry ! I know you all probably have little time and like me just want to see the card and items used and not listen to waffling. I will try and be brief now!      

 


I 'splodged' some TH distress ink  'Ripe Persimmon' and 'Sqeezed Lemonade' onto my card.     Then I added a Lavinia stamp, embossing in Wow   'White Pearl' and also in Momento 'Tuxedo Black'.      A 'Hobby Art'  sentiment  and a couple of embossed  lines  completed the card. Now starting another card, will post it soon. Have a lovely weekend whatever  you have planned.

ps. For those watching my battle with losing weight, you will see I am down another 2lbs ....onwards and downwards! Loving this 5.2 diet.

Rainbow card

Hi friends, can't believe it's Saturday yet again. Where do all the days/weeks/months go to?     Wow it's Less is More's 3rd birthday today, how did  that happen? ...the years are flying past so quickly it seems.      Lots of GDT cards over 'LIM' this week, so lovely to see Mandi showing us a card and a few photo's too....miss you still !     Thankyou to Chrissie and Mandi for starting it all and showing us such great inspiration week after week....and now also  Jen of course...... I guess I am really addicted now. Anyhoo onto this week's challenge which is.......

RAINBOW

 

    I came up with this idea fairly quickly, punching hearts out of rainbow coloured card.        I added a sentiment using my fav new  Waltzing Mouse stamp and a few different coloured inks. Took a  few 'goes' to get it right but got there in the  end. Have a lovely weekend everyone  whatever you  have planned :)      

      ps. My cold is better now ...thanks to all who asked ! I have  added a banner to keep track of my weight loss too. (See side bar right), going well so far 4lbs. lost. I am doing the 5.2 diet....anyone else doing it too??
