Hi everyone, I have another 'Belleek' type card to show you
today. See previous post for explanation and links etc.
I just had to do a blue one, this one reminds me more of
wedgwood pottery though.
I used a Cuttlebug E/F ( Damask), Spellbinders Rose Creation
die for the flowers.Tattered Lace ivy die, Momento Summer Sky
ink & Diamond dust on flowers.
Don't blame me if you are tempted to buy anything you
see here.... ....that's how I ended up buying these things
too.......looking at them on other blogs lol !
ps. I got my new custom orthotics fitted today,
I hope they help my feet !
Hi friends, I hope you are all safe after the bad storm
we had last night in the UK. We got off lightly here, just
very wet and very windy, but no damage for us luckily.
I have a card to show you today which is not as 'LIM'
or CAS as my usual offerings ........shock horror!
Well it probably is quite plain still but kind of different for
me. Enough rambling come and have a closer look.
Errr and yes it's yet another pink one lol !
Loving all your beautiful cards I see while visiting
you all. Thankyou ................. so inspiring.
Not liking how I keep having to buy all the lovely
'stuff' I see you using though!!!...............you know
who you are :)
I saw a lovely card over at the very talented Viv's blog
and it gave me an idea to do a background.
It's called the 'Belleek' technique after pottery of the
same name.Supposed to give it a sort of
porcelein/bisque look.
I have done a card before using inking
on the background but I used the raised bits unlike
the opposite here. Here is a link for the how to HERE.
Memory Box branch, Die-namics Rolled roses,
Crafts Too Damask E/F, Momento Angel Pink ink,
Dovecraft pale green shimmery chalk.

Hi everyone, oooh it's so windy here now. We are expecting
a big storm tonight in the UK and we are in the red zone
.....................oh my!!!
Stay safe everyone and batten down those hatches !
Here is my second card for the 'Less is More' challenge this
week. The recipe is................
'String or Twine'
Loving this twine I bought from 'The Ribbon Girl'
recently. I made a quick bow, added a tendril
( Poppy Stamps) and used a cuttlebug snowy e/f .
Also used a Spellbinders scalloped border with a touch
of TH distress ink. I thought it looked a tad white so I
softly chalked the tendril using some gold shimmery
chalk.
Introducing my niece's new baby , using
a couple of digi pages I made for her.
Also a card I made for her parents.I made a
similar one for her grandparents too .
What a cutie pie :)
