Teddy hello card

Good afternoon everyone, it's a lovely sunny day here today.
I do hope you all have some sun  too, wherever you are.

Saturday again so of course it means another 'Less is More'
card to show you. It's a sketch this time, see pic below card.

Adding a couple of my digi pages again too, so loving it still.
Come and have a closer look................

Sketch

I used TH distress inks and a waterbrush on the main image
for a change. LOTV image & my usual glamour dust on the
flower and butterfly. So much inkiness, my hands were a real
inky mess.Luckily I managed not to get any on the card where it
shouldn't be ( lots of hand washing constantly lol ).

ps. Sorry for the lack of cards lately but in a lot of pain atm.
with my hips and back for some reason. Better day today though.
Have a lovely weekend whatever you have planned :)

Navy flower card

Good afternoon friends/bloggers, I hope all is well today
for you all. Here is a second card for this week's
'Less is More' challenge, where the theme is.......

Felt or Fabric

I went for a shabby chic look this time, in shades of
purple and navy.Quite liking this colour combo! Details
below card....and my ramblings lol. Come and
 have a closer look...........

close- up

I have lots of chiffon I bought in different shades to make
flowers with. I went with the navy colour. After cutting and
singeing the ends I sewed some tiny beads in the middle.
The leaves and 'buds' I pinched from some pot pourri, well
the leaves were like paper mache so........fabric? I didn't
have any purple bakers twine so made my own.

Not brilliant I know but at least it matches. TH distress
inking and a bit of  distressing to the edge of the card. I
made a banner & added a Woodware stamped sentiment.
 Job done !

ps. More changes afoot ( excuse pun....see below ), after
getting to used my new smart phone, then my new tablet, then
new glasses (varifocals for the 1st time).

It seems I have another new thing to get used to now.

I have been having foot problems for several years now
and my reflexologist has been nagging me to get a referral to
see a Podiatrist. My arches have dropped & my leg is
changing shape accordingly............ oh my !

Well today I saw him ( very nice young man) and he
is getting me  fitted with custom orthotics. It involved
lots of warm water and  plaster....very nice experience!

He did say my feet were very flexible, which is a good thing
apparantly lol. I hope this will help me be able  to walk
better and  with much less pain. I will report back soon :)

ps. The weeks are flying past so fast I don't seem to find time to
post many cards or jewellery. Summer is always a busy time
for family parties,going out,the dreaded Spring cleaning I can't
do in Spring etc. I hope to have more time now to post more :)

So inspired by all the beautiful creations I see whilst blog
hopping. You are so talented all of you, I am so lucky to
visit you all. Happy weekend whatever you have planned.

We had a busy day yesterday with all the children &
grandbabies over again. Also the children helped my OH to
install new patio doors....wow what a job that was.OH had
already assembled all the frame ( not easy). It had to be put
 in place though still.

So fun to watch them all deciding which way round the doors
should be and which bit went where. All the time OH is holding
one door and waiting for them to decide.

Meanwhile I was inside trying to get one of the babies to
sleep lol. We ate very late in the end, but the doors were
hung at last. Still bits to do with it but they are in and
 look so fabulous too :)

Next it's a window to replace....and now I am looking at the
inside front door and have seen a replacement I like
....just don't tell my OH though lol.
