Dark Green and Rust card

Good afternoon friends/bloggers, I hope all is well with
 you all today.

It's Saturday again which means another
'Less is More' challenge once more. This time it's a
colour challenge and ....................................

                         'Dark Green & Rust '

This is what I came up with, come and have a closer
 look, details below card.

I CASed another card of mine  which I made  recently.
It might have been ok for the  challenge  but I felt maybe the
colours weren't quite right.

Anyway  I will add it here below my new one for you to see.

ps. Looks as if the hot Summer days may be over now.
We have put our swimming pool in overwinter mode
 anyway.

It has been put to very good use this year I am
glad to say for a change too . Enjoy your weekend
whatever your plans are :)

Using the larger A4 embossing folders with the Happy Cuts

Hi everyone, just a quick post today. Having just aquired a new
A4 Crafts Too embossing folder I was eager to try it out.

It seems there is an issue regarding which 'sandwich' to use
with the 'Happy Cuts' A4 machine or also the JT ( which is
almost the same apart from colour and the latter has plastic
cogs.)

I found if I used the white A plate , card in A4 folder then two
old Cuttlebug B plates side by side it works perfectly. I believe
the Grand M-Bossability folders can be used the same way too.

I was told the Creative Expressions plate or the Grand Calibur
Raspberry plate may be another option also, but I haven't tried
 them  myself.

So that is my solution to using the new thicker A4 embossing
folders in the Happy Cuts machine.

I hope this info may be of some help to other 'Happy Cuts' users :)

Here is a quick photo of some embossing I did today using this
method and  an A4 Crafts Too embossing  folder.

I didn't use an A4 piece of card but I did put it through
in the middle. As you  can see it works perfectly :)

ps. I will now add this to my older info on the Happy Cuts and the right
'sandwiches to use etc. Link  to it HERE .

Watercolour scene card

Good afternoon everyone, so lovely and warm here again today (24c).
I am loving this fabulous end to our glorious Summer this year.

Right onto my card. Here is another card for this week's
'Less is More' challenge. The theme is............................

"We want you to use a
RUBBER STAMP
In addition if you could use watercolours that would be wonderful!"

Sorry, hard to photograph well as it was a side opening card for a change!

I made another attempt  this time using a Crafters Companion stamp,
Imagine  ( Luscious Landscapes). I stamped on some watercolour paper
and used a cream Linen card base again as it matched better than
 my usual white card.

I cut an aperture using my nesties for a change.

A bit of watercolouring and a Woodware clear magic stamped
 sentiment and job done.

ps. Such a busy but lovely weekend we had, great party too.I
cooked my usual  mountain of food......... our daughter says I cook
 for an army.

My DIL laughed so hard when I asked her if I had made enough
food I thought she would collapse lol.

After most of our guests left in the evening  we went back to the
hotel my SIL and BIL were staying at and had a lovely swim ,
hot tub and sauna.....................utter bliss after my hectic day :)

I hope you all have good weather too have a lovely week  my
friends ! I intend to mostly rest...... and make cards.......and go to
the beach...and get used to my new tablet  ( Nexus...latest version)
when it arrives :)
