Poppy Spray

Hi there friends, I have another card to share today made with another of Rachel's gorgeous floral digital images again.

This time I used the 'Poppy Spray' image. I decided to use my own choice of colours and not red as you might think a poppy should be. Nice to just experiment with other colours I think !

I made a 'one layer' card and added a top layer digitally with some shadow  & image on top as a different idea.

You can find Rachel's floral images HERE on her Etsy site. More soon ;)

ps. I had a bit of a health scare last Wed, thought I was having a heart attack and so OH called an ambulance. They did a lot of tests and took me to hospital anyway.

It seems I didn't have one, (back home same night too) but they are doing further tests now to see what my problem is re my heart. Scared my OH half to death, esp. when the ambulance stopped on the way to do an ecg after I had more pain...but otherwise I am doing ok ;)

Right and back to my card, come and have a quick peek ;)

I used my Faber Castell pencils to colour this card for a change, still not confident with them but I am improving I hope ;)

Oh Viv, so sorry to hear of your health scare, and waiting to have tests done and get results is worrying too. Pleased to hear that you are okay though and hopefully the doctors will get to the bottom of it.
Your blue poppies are gorgeous, I love blue poppies and your colouring is lovely, lots of shading and depth of colours, it's a beautiful card.
Take things easy, Kate x

This is absolutely gorgeous, you shouldn't be afraid of those pencils you can use them beautifully.
I'm sorry to hear about your pain and a visit to A&E, but glad to hear you were home soon after tests. Let's hope they find out the reason soon.
Faith x
