The Flower Challenge #19 Shaped Cards

Hi there friends, I am here to share more DT cards made for 'The Flower Challenge' again. Our theme this month is 'Shaped Cards', I made a few this time. See more examples on our blog made by our talented team if you are unsure what to make. See who won our prize there too!

Also we have chosen three new Design Team members to join us. Barbara Hagen (Bobby), Ericka Strange and Rachel Vass. We are so excited they have agreed to join our little team and can't wait to see their amazing cards. Please leave them all some comment love too when you see their cards ;)

Ok back to my cards, my first one was made using a lovely die cut I had, come and have a closer peek ;)

Flower Challenge, Shaped cards

White Linen card
Silver card
Spellbinders Venise Lace die
TH Wild flower dies
Sugar Pea sentiment stamp
TH Distress inks
Clear Embossing ink
 Wow Silver E/P

I cut my card base using a hinge method. I cut the front with an extra bit at the top and folded that over  then cut a back piece and stuck them both together. Then I added a white circle of card which I raised up with 3d pads to add some dimension. Then  my silver part after using another die from the same set. I die cut all my flowers and coloured them loosely using my Distress inks. I heat embossed a sentiment  in silver to match it all. I added another small piece of silver card to the back of my sentiment and added that to my card also.

Not sure I added enough flowers on these really for our challenge (plus they are mostly digital too) but showing you them anyway as they are shaped cards ;)

I made two Side Stepper digital cards, I used a template and then added my digital papers, shadows etc. to it. Very fiddly but I managed it in the end.  After cutting it all out I then added  an oval die (Poppystamps Claudette Oval Frame)  and my MB Fabulous Phlox flowers & leaves made with a die. The sentiment was a PB stamp. I added clear crystals to the flowers.

I decided as I was on a roll  by then to make another one changing the colours this time to pink and blue. I added a heart die and used the same flower die again but this time I coloured them. A few clear crystals completed my card.
I am back with reminder cards on the 15th March ;)

Please add our cue card below when entering our challenge.

Your first card is very delicate and beautiful. I love the other cards too. I love that you use your digital images so beautifully. As you say it can be VERY fiddly, but you've smashed it.

What stunningly beautiful cards! My first thought on your first card was it reminded me of Cinderella's coach. Weird me, I know. Smiling about your cards.
