Blue Happy Birthday card

Hi friends, just popping by to show you another  'Less is More' card. In shades of blue this time, hope  you like it.   Busy day today, lots of cleaning/washing ( hate Mondays  for that !), then our usual long walk in  the forest. It's a  fast day today too so always feeling cold.       Various 'Stuff' off to the  charity shop today, including  lovely gold lined little  delicate pale green cups too....I know ...I know.... but I don't need them...I don't need them!! Helped our elderly neighbour who had had a nasty fall  out walking. She was very shaken and  very bruised  and sore.        Lots of hot tea and pain killers/Arnica and she was feeling  a lot better I am glad to say. No broken bones but I bet  she is very sore and stiff in the morning.        My OH wanted some new teeshirts  ( he is down a size now) but wanted  a pastel shades/bright colour design   on the front and NO writing on.        Esp. no writing he said...."Why should  I advertize  someone's product or place" ...well you get the drift! "Why is it all the writing is always American too" he  wanted to know. Hmm no idea I said.....but as he  couldn't find anything I offered to design some for him.       Result.....I am having them printed as we speak so  will show you in due course ;) He said I should start  selling them lol as he was sure other men had the same  problem. Hmm do they ??       Right ....oops ...sorry for the long post and waffling !! Here is my card for LIM where the theme  this week  is 'Mostly Words'.

Green Butterfly card

Good afternoon friends, the sun is peeping through here at last, hope you have it too !     It's Saturday again, they rush by so quickly don't they ? I have another 'Less is More' card to share with you  today.     This time it's......     'MOSTLY WORDS'       Going for a suble green card today, hope you like the  ombre effect.       ps. Been so busy sorting 'stuff ' in the house to either  go to auction or to charity this week.    Amazing how much 'stuff' you accumulate over the  years isn't it. Anyway most of it is going as we are  hoping to move house next year as I think you know.     I started on my craft room also.....gulp.....how did I  get such a lot of 'stuff'.....well you all know the answer  to that one I'm sure lol!     It's looking tidier  already and I even found enough  room to make a card !.........happy days ;) Enjoy your week everyone !

Spreadin' a little love card

Hello playmates  , here I am with another quick card. I seem to be in a mood for blue lately as here is yet  another one.     You know when you get an idea and you just have to  rush and make a card ? Well that's what happened here!     My craft room is so cluttered atm.....shame on me.....but I managed to just find room to make this card....just!!! Hello playmates ! how are we today? it's a  rather grey day here , where has that sun gone!      Anyway I have another 'Less is More' card to share with you again. The theme this week is...

sail on our daughter & SIL's boat on the Broads.

 I was very good at steering too which surprised

 everyone.......including me! A pub lunch too and

Morning coffee card

Hello playmates......(sorry an Arthur Askey moment  there). You probably need to be my age and live  in the UK to appreciate that one too sorry lol.       I have another LIM card to show you today. This is what I came up with.......and NO that's  not me.....although the pink dressing gown might have fooled you I know!         ps. We have been mostly making jam this last week. Plum (our own) and Ginger jam and Blackberry jam ( picked from the hedgerows).      No Elderberry wine  this year though as we are not  drinking as much.Still got lots left from last year !!!  This 5.2 diet plays a big part in that of course. Another 2 1/2 lbs down again last week ............happy days ;)       I keep trying to summon  the energy to re-tidy my  craft room too...just not  happening yet ! Have a  good week whatever you  have planned playmates ;)

Cup of tea card

Hi lovely blogging friends, how are you all today ? I think Autumn has started here, a definite nip in the  air now.     Here is this week's 'Less is More' card from me. It's one layer card week and the theme is....     BEVERAGES     I used a digi I found in my stash from BeyondTheFringe  called 'Stacked cups'. Ideal I thought as I do love a nice  cuppa, Earl Grey to be exact ! I also like a nice Cappuccino  too (partial to a freebie from Waitrose) but going with  tea for today here I think.       I do love pretty little tea cups, esp. with roses on. I have  some very old ones I inherited but mostly tea sets  which I don't use.       Although  I love them I plan on selling most and getting  just odd  pretty ones I love.I have a beautiful cabinet to  put them in filled with all sorts of inherited bits and  pieces atm.        Nice to be able to have our own things in it I think now. My OH loves Royal Worcester but it has got so expensive now as the Japanese love it too it seems.       Ooops sorry... I seem to have gone off on a tangent lol. Here is my card anyway........well after this quick moan :)       ps. Handy hint ! just to add, anyone thinking about buying a new toilet or bathroom suite. Make sure you buy a toilet with a  NORMAL shaped seat. We just had to replace ours  ( just the seat) ......£162.46.......yikes!       I know......I know ,but had no choice in the end. Cheap one  we thought  would fit...didn't and  then broke. We had  already thrown the  manky hinges away so couldn't put  old ones back.          New hinges we bought and tried didn't fit so.................:(

Here is my usual 'Less is More' card, it's  a colour theme this time and.....         CHOCOLATE  MINT         Not my usual colours but nice to have a change I think.
