Blue Damask card

Hi everyone, I have another 'Belleek' type card to show you
today. See previous post for explanation and links etc.

I just had to do a blue one, this one reminds me more of
wedgwood pottery though.

I used a Cuttlebug E/F ( Damask), Spellbinders Rose Creation
die for the flowers.Tattered Lace ivy die, Momento Summer Sky
ink & Diamond dust on flowers.

Don't blame me if you are tempted to buy anything you
see here.... ....that's how I ended up buying these things
too.......looking at them on other blogs lol !

ps. I got my new custom orthotics  fitted today,
I hope they help my feet !

Pink Damask card

Hi friends, I hope you are all safe after the bad storm
we had last night in the UK. We got off lightly here, just
very wet and  very windy, but no damage for us luckily.

I have a card to show you today which is not as 'LIM'
or CAS as my usual offerings ........shock horror!

Well it probably is quite plain still but kind of different for
me. Enough rambling come and have a closer look.

Errr and yes it's yet another pink one lol !

Loving all your beautiful cards I see while visiting
you all. Thankyou ................. so inspiring.

Not liking how I keep having to buy all the lovely
'stuff' I see you using though!!!...............you know
 who you are :)

I saw a lovely card over at the very talented  Viv's blog
and it gave me  an idea to do a background.

It's called the 'Belleek' technique after pottery of the
same name.Supposed to give it a sort of
 porcelein/bisque  look.

I have done a card before using inking
on the background but I used the raised bits unlike
the opposite here. Here is a link for  the how to HERE.

Memory Box branch, Die-namics Rolled roses,
Crafts Too Damask E/F, Momento Angel Pink ink,
Dovecraft pale green shimmery chalk.

Twine and tendril card

Hi everyone, oooh it's so windy here now. We are expecting
a big storm tonight in  the UK and we are in the red zone
.....................oh my!!!

Stay safe everyone and batten down those hatches !

Here is my second card for the 'Less is More' challenge this
week. The recipe is................

'String or Twine'

Loving this twine I bought from 'The Ribbon Girl'
recently. I made a quick bow, added a tendril
( Poppy Stamps) and used a cuttlebug snowy e/f .

Also  used a Spellbinders  scalloped border with a touch
of TH distress ink. I thought it looked a tad white so I
softly chalked the tendril using some gold shimmery
 chalk.

Introducing my niece's new baby , using
a couple of digi pages I made for her.

Also a card I made for her parents.I made a
similar one for her grandparents too .

What a cutie pie  :)

Feather card

Good morning friends/bloggers, I hope you are all
keeping well. Another Saturday again, the time certainly
 flies.

I hope everyone is battening down the hatches for
the very stormy weather we are expecting on Monday
here in the UK.

This week over at  'Less is More' the recipe is.....

String or Twine

I decided to use some of my Kraft card I have had for a
while but still not used !

Memory Box feather and some TH white twine.
Hobby Arts sentiment.

I had to risk stamping it twice as it didn't work too
well first time. Luckily I got away with it lol.
Have a lovely weekend whatever you have planned :)

ps.Update... Sorry the feather die is a Poppy Stamps one !

Winter scene card

Hi friends/bloggers, another quick post with yet another
card for the 'Less is More' challenge. Just can't stop
making  them this week . The theme is.....

Trees

I got in a real inky mess making this one, never mind lol.

I used TH Distress Ink in faded jeans  and a Woodware
 sentiment .

Also  'Create a scene'  Creative Expressions
stamps & Momento Tuxedo black ink.

Lots of masking and sponging & I drew a few birds
freehand too. Ooh that snow is looking deep isn't it !

Hope you like :)

ps. Our DIL is feeling a bit better thank goodness.
Her Zumbathon event went well and she managed to
raise £642 pounds for her charity !

Not bad seeing as she  wasn't well at all that day. Details
of her charity here Mashi and a photo of the event below
 too :)

I also added a photo of Sarah with all the children  at
the school she has started in Ecuador.

They really depend on her now. At least they don't have to
go to the fields with their  parents everyday now and have
an education. & health care :)

White ribbon tree card

Hi again, a rainy and dismal day here today grrrr!
I have yet another attempt at making a card for the
'Less is More' challenge this week .Where the theme is

 Trees

Similar idea as my last card but I feel it is more 'clean'
looking and much more white space too........and relax.

ps. didn't have the best of nights last night, little sleep
with my Arthritis etc. and our DIL had to go to A&E
with stomach pains.

As she is 7 months pregnant it was a worry, baby ok
though. She is supposed to be hosting a Zumbathon
she has organized today in Camb too in aid  of her
 children's  charity ....................oh my !

Adding a link to her charity now after being asked about
it by others. The people in that town call her an angel,
if you read about her work there you can see why too :)

Green ribbon tree card

Hi everyone,.....oh my  a second card today,
that must be a record !
I made this one for the 'Less is More'
challenge again where the theme is.....
Trees
I just had to make this card as soon as the idea
popped into my mind :)

Ribbon is from 'ribbon oasis' , had it a while now,
just love this spotty ribbon. This is the last of my green
though sadly now.

The sentiment is an old  stamp too, no name though
sorry. Momento 'New Sprout' ink used and the usual
Glamour dust  on the sentiment. Hard to see here
 though sorry.

Hmmm is it too large for the card, not much white
space . May make another now.Anyway hope you likey :)

Trees card

Good morning friends/bloggers , it's Saturday again and so
another card for 'Less is More' once more.

Quick post as OH is waiting to go for a walk lol.
Here's what I came up with. The theme this week is..........

Trees

I saw a lovely stamp ( Hero Arts) over at Gay's blog
recently and just  had  to have it ( as you do lol).

It doesn't stamp very well alas and I have tried various
inks. This one came out best so far, Momento London
fog, it  doesn't like Linen card either hmmm.

I added some  glamour dust to the trees also. Have a lovely
 weekend everyone :)

Can't see the sparkle well I fear!

I have another 'Less is More'
card to show you today. It's 'one layer' card week & the
theme is.......

"Witches & Wizards (Or little monsters too!!)"

I found this cute little devil image so am going with monsters this time !
It's a 'wonderstrange' freebie image which I coloured with Promarkers.
Computerized sentiment, I would give this card with a box of chocolates
I think he he  ........I have left a couple here for you all, please help
 yourselves lol ;)

......well he could have magic powers and fly this one......ahem.

Witches hat card

Good morning friends/bloggers, it's a bit of a chilly start
to this Saturday morning. Autumn is definately here brr !

For this week's 'Less is More' challenge it has to be a.....

"One Layer Card.  This week we have decided to have a theme of
Witches & Wizards (Or little monsters too!!)"

I came up with this idea, using a tall thin card for a change.
an old 'Beccy's Place' digi image and a computerized
 BaaBook Hmk font.

After seeing the spider /hat combo I decided on this sentiment
I added the usual Glamour dust and job done.

Have a great weekend whatever you have planned.

ps. We have just bought a new sofa bed (& a new bed for
another spare room, the old one was too hard ). So we are busy
sorting  the spare bedroom yet again.

It is full of baby stuff  for the grandbabies mostly. We will
try and put things away in the large wardrobe there so at least
the room looks tidy once more.

So hard not to have one messy room esp. with grandchildren's
things. I do like a tidy house though so........off to sort it now.

Our kitchen is like a brewery once more lol, OH has elderberry wine
brewing ( having picked lots from hedgerows) and also Cider this year
using all our own apples yum yum. Jam to make soon too
............it's all go here lol.
