'Make a Wish' silk ribbon bracelet and card

Hi everyone, just a quick post today. I have a  real silk  ribbon bracelet to show you today.In nice rich Autumn  shades this time. I hammered the tag and hand stamped   a few words on it. Hope you like it :) I will add it to  my  website soon. I made a matching card also. After  three  glorious sunny days we have grey skies again now boo hoo!

Hi everyone, yes we have sun yeaaaahhhh! I think Summer may have arrived at long last.Here are my latest cards for this week's 'Less is More' challenge . This time it's ..................................... Humour Well I had a brief moment of panic....well ....to be  honest several really. After a bit of sunbathing and walking  and thinking, I came up with these two ideas. Same digi image  but decided on two sentiments. You can judge which you like  best. I hope you all have sun and warm weather and enjoy the  rest of the weekend/ (Bank Holiday here in the UK too). ps. I am still just amazed by all the fabulous cards you are all making lately. Wow what talent you all have , it's a  real  pleasure to visit you all & call you my friends :)

Bouquet of blue flowers card

Morning everyone, I hope all is well with you today. Another very early start for me, just wanted to share this card with you. It's not my usual CAS style at all, I made it a while ago along  with a few others I will show you soon. I am really into making  my own flowers now. This one took me the best part of a whole day lol. I am pleased to say I got quicker making them after a while.I think my mojo has returned too at long last, fingers  crossed it continues now.Anyway enough rambling, come and  have a closer look.........................

Snoopy dog card

Hi everyone, I think Winter has returned here today, so cold and windy. More like December than May, still in my  thick winter jumpers lol. I have yet another 'Less is More' card to show you today.It's a theme this week and.......... Cats and/or Dogs  After making two cat cards I thought it was time for a doggie one so here it is. I think it looks like Snoopy to me, it was another  Simply Cards & Papercrafts  digi download freebie. So it's a  Beagle I think if I am right.  Apparantly "One of his hobbies is  reading Leo Tolstoy's epic  novel  'War and Peace' at the  rate  of  "a word a day". Snoopy also  has the uncanny ability to play  fetch with soap bubbles, and  can hear someone eating  marshmallows or cookies at a distance,  or even peeling a banana.  He claims to hear chocolate chip cookies calling him." Anyway  I hope he will put a smile on your  face today,come and  have a closer look...... ps. Busy day today, been up since 5.30.am coughing again!!!, did 2 lots of washing ,cleaned the bathrooms, changed the bed. Had a  walk in the forest, planted loads of new plants in our front garden for  Summer ( if we ever get one).Now having a rest !!!!....and relax.

Here are a few pics of our garden, it has a heavily perfumed smell atm. with all the Bird Cherry trees, Bluebells and Viburnum :) Pics taken in the evening so a tad dark...sorry.

Just Purrfect card

Hi everyone, another week gone...where did it go?? Here is my card for this week's   'Less is More' challenge which is a theme this time and .....................................  Cats and / or Dogs I came up with this idea using an old Pink Petticoat digi image and a computerized sentiment and lines. Have a great weekend everyone whatever you have  planned.I plan to just rest mostly after this horrid virus but I am back card making which I have sooo missed ! ps. a big welcome to my latest followers too, welcome aboard.

Gerbera card

Quick post again, here is a card I made for my lovely daughter-in -law for her birthday.I am so blessed with such lovely sweet natured daughter -in -laws !!! I used a gerbera stamp for the flowers as it's one of her  favourite flowers. Have a nice day everyone ! Also a big welcome to all my latest followers, welcome aboard :)

 I made this  Turquoise one using some lovely pearlized card ( can't see the

shine here though I fear). I heat embossed using a script stamp then stamped

 over it using a flower stamp in black. The green one I used a tiny script stamp

then overstamped that using a leafy stamp.I  added  some glitter, a sentiment

and a couple of embossed lines.

Sun, rain, sun ,rain, here today, can't make it's mind up.........and I'm

 still coughing arghhhhh!

Pink base flower cards

Good morning everyone, another 5.30 am start again for me   lol.This cough is ruling my days and nights lately ! Anyway I have two cards to show you today , this week over at 'Less is More' it's one layer  again and................ Coloured Card Blank "Yes that's right, none of your boring, white, ivory, black or kraft  card blanks we want to see you add some colour.  Here  are our cards for this week..." Well of course the first colour I saw me being me was PINK ! So I set to work using some more lovely new stamps I have  bought recently. Note to self  "stop buying more stuff "................ but will I  listen.......not a chance of course!!!  The first one is my fav I think, I stamped in black ink, then added some distress ink using a water brush and then added some glitter. Funnily enough I had been using my waterbrush last night thinking I might be able to use it on my card today.........................result! My second card  was made by stamping in white then heat  embossing and adding some subtle colour again using a  waterbrush. I used a Tombo pen to highlight the stems a tad  also.A few dots around the flower centres too, job done.  I may be back with more samples later in the week, but we have a busy week Charlie sitting. All coming here for lunch  tomorrow ( been trying to organize that for weeks due to illness  with us all ). Then for his mother's birthday on Monday and then  while they attend a funeral on Wed. So pleased I am on the  mend now, just as well ! OH still coughing like mad but improving.

Poppies card

Hi everyone, another beautiful sunny day again here. I have another 'Less is More' card to show you today. This week the challenge is a....... Colour Challenge  "This month we would like you to choose TWO opposite  colours from this Colour Wheel" This time I decided to use orange and blue. The blue looked a lot more like turquoise when I took  the photo. So I had to do a bit of altering in PSP to get it to show  the right colour.I always have trouble with my reds looking  pink too for some reason! I used some distress ink again  and also another of my latest stamps ( Memory Box  Luminous Poppies). I stamped , coloured  and cut the  flowers out to add behind the little frame. A tiny butterfly completed the card, come and have a closer look........... ps. Had trouble with my cold/ virus /Asthma/breathing today. I  just couldn't breathe properly at all and OH was most  worried I might pass out lol.Called 111 and they said  to call an ambulance....oh my! I managed to wait until our surgery  opened and the Dr gave me steroids. Now breathing again I am glad to report lol. pps. a big welcome to my latest follower too, welcome aboard!

Colour challenge cards

Good morning friends/bloggers, it's a lovely sunny day here  today. I hope you have sun too! Over at  the 'Less is More' challenge  this week it's a .................................................. Colour Challenge  "This month we would like you to choose TWO opposite  colours from this Colour Wheel" (I will add it at the bottom or otherwise my card won't  show up in posts.)  My first thought was to use 'violet red  and yellow green', but my violet red ink wouldn't stamp very well with my image. I tried instead some violet ink which worked really well. Of course then I had forgotten the colour violet should be teamed with yellow and not  yellow green. Arghhh!! I only realised after I had finished making the card and taken a photo...typical. So I set to  work and made another, this time I couldn't get the image  to stamp cleanly. So after numerous attempts I resorted to making a matted image with one I was happy with. I  added my yellow butterfly, gems and sentiment and job  done.Phew.....and relax.Come and have a closer look  at  my cards. I will show you both versions seeing as I have already taken photo's of them.Rather liking the violet  and green myself but you can choose which looks best.Not  made a card in almost 2 weeks now, so struggling a tad. ps. I am still feeling terrible with this  horrid cold virus and I  am SO glad you can't see me too. I am not a pretty site atm.  believe me lol, my eye is partially closed because of  conjuntivitis. Having not slept again ( awake at 1 ish then  got up at 5am., coughing all night etc. ) I don't have bags  under my eyes now I have mahoosive suitcases! My eye was  glued shut when I woke up so I was stumbling about trying  to find the bathroom looking a very sorry site. Almost  frightened myself when I caught site of my face in the mirror  too.It's all not good people lol.Sorry for the long post now too. pps.Ooops mean't to add.......a very big welcome to all my  latest followers , welcome aboard and thanks for choosing me.

Few more cards

Hi again, just another quick post today, one card and few 'mistakes'.  The first is for my niece's one year old, where did that year go??  ...anyway glad to report she is now expecting baby number two.  Very exciting for us all :) I made this  quick card using a Pink  Petticoat digi image. Don't look too hard at the colouring please.  I had mean't to add glitter to the dress but  then  forgot, so had  to recolour it again,.... didn't take a new pic of course.The hair didn't  turn out great either ! The last two were an idea I had but it didn't  quite work out. Thought I would just show you anyway, after the  second card I lost interest in doing another lol. In the first one  I blurred the stamping,then added trees which didn't look right.  In the second one I did the same again grrrr, gave up after that !  I did like the shape though so just showing you anyway :) Hope  you all have this lovely sun today.I didn't sleep well again  so now off to bathe in a few rays!
