Joy card

Good afternoon bloggers, it's  a bit milder here today thank
goodness. Today I have another card to show you made for
'Beccy's Place' again using Beccy's digi image 'Joy'. I think it
makes for such an easy card using a word as the main image.
You can  make it very large, or keep it small and layer it as I
have here. See Beccy's blog too for her version of the image
on  a card, it's so pretty in shades of pink hmm now why didn't
I think about doing that lol. I used the coloured version as I
just loved the choice of colours but there is a black and white
version too as usual. I found some dp with the word joy on
which I think went well with the image. After layering up the
image and edging with matching shades of navy and yellow,
I added my usual sparkle to the ribbon part with my glamour
dust. Come and have a closer look ................

Thankyou card

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the
weekend whatever you have planned.I had to get up early again,
 ( 4.30 am) as I was coughing so much grrrr.  It's a bit ( no... a lot)
chilly here today , so we lit the new woodburner 'Woody' today.
Oh boy does it  heat the whole house quickly. We have had to
open all the doors throughout the house now, which is great as
we now have lovely  ambient heat all through it. Right enough
waffling, onto my second  card for this weeks 'Less is More'
challenge. It's week 91 and a sketch this week which is.....
come and have a closer look at my card.  I used the distress
ink technique where you ink onto an  acrylic stamping block
first then spray with water then dab that onto cardstock. I
think mine resembles a  nice sky ?? I embossed over it too,
reminds me of raindrops....sort of ?? I drew a few birds
stamped a tree and coloured a little here and there. Quite
pleased with it now, I see so many things  wrong with my first
card now...isn't that always the way??
ps. I do hope you all remembered to turn your clocks back.
It took us ages to figure out how to do the tv time. Sooooo many
menu's etc. ...I swear it's worse than a computer that tv. When they said
all singing and dancing I think they just mean VERY COMPLICATED.

Bride card

Good morning friends, what terrible weather we have here
today. Much colder brrrrr and lots of rain and hail too, think
I will  hibernate for the rest of the winter now. I managed to sleep
better last night without the constant coughing so am hoping my
cold is on it's way out now.Keep warm and germ free everyone.
Onto my card, here is another 'Less is More' offering, it's a sketch
 this time and ...........
There is sparkle here too, hard to see though, not easy to take a
photo with all this dark weather today. I used some distress
ink and just hints of colour to keep it all soft.
ps. A big welcome to yet more followers , thankyou so
much for choosing me to follow.

Mini sentiment set cards

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well today and have escaped
all the horrid colds/germs that are about just now. I thought I
had, only to find myself full of a cold now too arghhhh. Anyway
onto some DT cards made for 'Beccy's Place' again with some
super cute digi images. This new set is called  'mini sentiment set'
and there are no less than 20 small images  in this set....Wow ! All
come with their own  little sentiments below the images too.
There all come in a colour version and also in black and white.
These will come in so handy esp. for  making quick cards.
They  don't  need much else on a card I find as the images
are lovely and simple. I made a quite a few cards with some
of the images ( see mine below). My other team  member
Cheryl has used  some  of the other images, so check Beccy's
site for those today HERE. The  super talented Beccy and
Eret will post their cards on the site tomorrow so be  sure
to check those out also.  Come and have a  closer look
at the  cards  I made here.............
ps. Don't forget Beccy's October challenge too, details HERE.

just wish we had sun too ! Today I have another card
for the 'Less is More' challenge once again. It's week 90
and the theme is......
Autumn
We had the most amazing sunset here yesterday, ( see pics
below).I only noticed it as our wooden floor had turned very
pink all of sudden. When I looked towards the sky I could see
why so I quickly grabbed my camera. Anyway that gave me
the idea for my card this time. Trying the spotlight technique for
a change, hope you like it. Come and have a closer look........

me to follow ! I was amazed to see I had been chosen

Talking with the moon card

Good morning everyone, I hope you are well and happy today.
Not feeling that good today, the old Rh Arthritis is back for the
winter so lots of pain and not much sleep again .Will try not to
moan too much though lol, at least now it has stopped raining
and the sun is out. Today I have another 'Less is More' card
to show you. It's a 'one layer' card  we have to make this time
 with the theme of .........
Wings
Such a cute fairy image ( details below), I have been dying
to use this for ages. I just made a strip using distress ink
and added the image with lots of bling for the wings. Not
sure it shows here but it's like crushed glass and sparkles
a lot. I also added a few  digital  'sparkles' on the wings
and my fairy shoe prop......can you spot them :)
Top tip .... To make your digi image stand out more on
a card,  I outline mine using my Ice grey Promarker.
Didn't do it here as the image is quite small but now
added a pic of one I did earlier.

have another DT card made for 'Beccy's Place' again using
the digi image 'Pears and Mistletoe'. It was such a fun image
to colour, I glittered the ribbon in a vibrant red colour too.

up in this pic....so please ignore that. Come and have
 a closer look......

Blue butterflies script card

Good afternoon friends/bloggers, I hope you are all enjoying your
weekend. It's week 89 over at 'Less is More' this time we have to
make a one layer card and the theme is......
Wings
I managed to get ink on the sleeve of my new pink ( well it would
be pink wouldn't it he he) jumper. Lucky it was watercolour ink so
it came off easily....phew. I made version one, then decided it needed
more colour and some sparkle.I added more ink and then added even
more to the butterflies and sparkled them  too. I think it looks better
now. Enough waffling, come and have a  closer look at my card......
ps. Btw my DIL's sister has only just had her baby, ( about an hour ago),
and it was boy ! They already have two girls and a boy so this evens up
the family nicely. Many congratulations to everyone.
