Raspberry house card

Good morning everyone, I hope today
finds you happy and healthy :)
Here is another DT card made for 'Beccy's Place'.
Yet another of the very talented Beccy's delightful
digi images. This card was made using her 'Raspberry house'
image. I made a frame around the image and a centre panel
with a few decoupaged bits added.Glamour dust on the
pretty raspberries and flowers.
I am pleased to report that the card I made with this
fabulous image was sold almost as soon as I had made it.
Anyway hope you like it and the next digi is so
very beautiful I can't wait to show you it too.

Turquoise butterfly card

Good morning everyone, we have sun & rain here today.
I thought the hot weather wouldn't last long ! Here is a
quick card I made recently using my lovely PP Brocade
papers again. I have another two to show you soon using
more Brocade papers...I  just love them. Another cut out
butterfly again here too . Happy crafting everyone.

ps. My craft room looks like a disaster area atm., I have all
my cards out trying to sort them into categories.I will donate ones
I don't like to a friend who can use the bits for a charity group.A
neighbour bought a card off me and luckily I had one handy I
had just made. I then realised if she wanted to see a selection
I had them all over the place and couldn't find any I needed quickly .
Wish me luck sorting them all.....and throwing bits of stuff out!!!!

Green and blue butterfly card

It's week 78 over at 'Less is More' & this time
it's a sketch and ........
SKETCH

I tried some distress inking again, I just love how
the ink flows and makes these magical shapes.
I think Chrissie is the master of this technique &
has inspired me many times. Not that I am leaving
Mandi out too as she has inspired me also !........
and the lovely LIMettes........well all of you really.
Rambling again......oh dear. Strip of inkiness, die cut
butterfly, fancy bit was the remains of a die ( good
idea I thought ). PP sentiment and a touch of the
old glamour dust again, job done. Won't mention
how I ended up with bright blue and yellow fingers
just before I was due to go out. Also I ruined the
original piece of card inking the  edges of the die cut
piece. I splattered the white base card  all over arghhhh.
Ooops too late I already mentioned it !!!!
Welcome to my latest followers btw., welcome aboard.

seem to mind at all.I looked on terrified though lol.

Easier to see behind the butterfly here, don't like pics front on though.

Two shabby chic tags & some flowers

Hi everyone, hope you are all getting this lovely
hot sunny weather we have today. In between
catching some rays I decided to make a couple
of tags. Not made these before, I decided on a
shabby chic theme. I have been busy making more
flowers too, still can't get them how I want them
but will keep on trying ! I used a hot glue gun today,
for the ribbon ones, burnt myself a tad.I also dropped
very hot water ( only a few drops from a pan lid) on
my foot and on my chest ( separate accidents)...... & also
on my arm. Didn't really last however I put arnica on and
I am fine now, talk about accident prone though lol !
ps. The pearls are real in the pics....my Pearl Anniversary

Life's little ups and downs card

It's week 77 over at 'Less is More' & this time
it's a theme and ..............
Sewing
Hmmm I wasn't looking forward to this as like Diva
Mandi ...I don't sew on  my cards. However as usual
they are keeping our grey matter on overdrive so
who are we to complain ! Anyway I found this cute
little digi bird set I had and a sentiment I thought went
with it and a plan was hatched ( excuse terrible pun
there...birds ...hatch).I turned one of the birds upside
down, which I thought went with the sentiment. I
punched a few holes, did a bit of silver stitching  ( gulp) &
decoupaged one of the birds ( sooooo  fiddly). I added
a bit of glamour dust to the top bird too, ...I did try
to resist using that....but wasn't easy lol. A bit of soft
chalking around image, 3d'd it & job done..
..........and relax.
ps. Quite pleased with the stitching.......I may even do more !

Magnolia card and bookmark

Good afternoon everyone, I see we have rain yet again !!!
Today I have another DT card ( & matching bookmark)
made for 'Beccy's Place' using her gorgeous digi image
'Magnolia' You get a coloured version and a black and
white version.  I used the latter and coloured it with my
Copics  & Promarkers. I just loved this image so much

as soon as  I saw it. I made a square card and just had
to make a  matching bookmark again ......as I often do.
Although these aren't png images I was able to add two
flowers to  a card...... and the bookmark of course
using my  GCF programme. That could be done in
word  no doubt  too. I added a butterfly and sentiment
to the card and  a quote to the bookmark  "Every flower
is a soul  blossoming in nature" the font may be hard to
read here  but I love the flowing nature of it.I inked the
edges for  a shabby chic look also.  Right enough waffle
from me  today , here is my card & bookmark.
ps. Sorry for the gaps in words above, I find when I add
stuff late it messes with it.......note to self, don't add stuff
 at the end lol.

Key to Happiness card

My last card for the 'Less is More' challenge this week.
Week 76,  a one layer card and......
"Three of anything that is, three colours, three images, three
stamps, three words, the number three.... it's up to you, but don't
forget the white space, a simple design and just one layer!"
Had to go for a pink version this time lol.The three things here
are the three stamps I used btw. I was so pleased when I realised
I could combine these three elements, sentiments from two sets also.
ps. It made me smile yesterday when I went to my daughters
house. I noticed two very gorgeous pairs of new stiletto's  lined up
outside her wardrobe ( should have taken a pic, both were suede
and one had a lovely rose on the front), & what colour where they
........yes you guessed....PINK  ....now why didn't that surprise me lol !

Pastel flower card

Another card for the 'Less is More' challenge.
Week 76,  a one layer card and......
"Three of anything that is, three colours, three images, three
stamps, three words, the number three.... it's up to you, but don't
forget the white space, a simple design and just one layer!"
I went for three flowers here if there is any doubt, or three things,
the flower stamp, the ink washed panel and the sentiment stamp.
I used my distress ink again, masked a panel, sponged paint on,
stamped a flower, stamped a sentiment , bit of glitter, job done.
Can't believe how relaxed I am about one layer cards
now. They used to terrify me. Thanks Chrissie and Mandi
I have learned so much. Layout is key of course, then you have
to get all the elements just right. Oh my I sound like an expert,
I am not lol...but feeling happier about looking at that blank
 card these days.
ps. Awake most of the night again with the old Rh Arthritis & all this
horrid rain which make it sooo much worse. Here early again at 5.30. am
, so glad I can go blog hopping to take my mind off stuff.
Enough waffling I think, here is my card. Sorry...... moan over !!

Homegrown card

Here is another DT card made for 'Beccy's Place'
using her digi image 'Homegrown'.  It reminds me
of all the lovely fruit and veg we are growing ourselves
and now eating too.We have the most delicious onions
(red and white), carrots /potatoes/raspberrries. We have
loads of other things too but not  quite ready for eating as
yet. My lovely compost mad OH gets the credit for growing
it all. Can't believe the raspberries are ready as they are
Autumn ones.....this  terrible  rainy weather probably explains
that though ! Right onto my card..... easy to colour, I amused
myself when I thought of this sentiment, hope you approve too.
ps. So much for not rambling.............well I tried !
ps. Forgot to add my son completed his bike ride around the coast
and now he is doing the bike race from London to Camb
Sunday  too ( he's done it a few times already) , wish him luck.
