Tulips card

Here is another DT card made for Beccy over at
'Beccy's Place' . It was such a lovely image to colour,
the card almost made itself lol.Anyway the ' Tulips' digi
 image is available HERE.
I used Copics and coloured pencils to colour it,( yes it
just had to be pink again too! ) a stamped sentiment,
also a punched and glittered butterfly. A pink matt layer
underneath and that was it. A5 tent fold card this time
 for a change.
Sorry about the wonky photo, the card I used was a
tad thinnish as I had run out of my usual linen card.As
a result it didn't photograph that well.

Peeking bear card

Here is another card for 'Less is More' again.
It's a sketch this time.................
"For this week's sketch we'd like you to keep to
the proportions of this drawing so that there is
considerable white space remaining in the
 finished card."
You may choose either of these
                   SKETCHES.

I used a 'TeddyBOBEA' digi image  this time.Such a cute
little bear don't you think ?
It was a tag really but I cropped it and edged it with
a fine liner.Coloured with promarkers, then I layered
it with two other matts. Both edged in matching
Promarker colours. More layers I know but I think
it just needed them :) A computerized sentiment
( BethscuteHMK Bold) completes the card.

My niece has called her new baby Benjamin btw. :)

Yellow flower card

It's week 65 over at 'Less is More' and this time
it's a sketch.
"For this week's sketch we'd like you to keep to the
proportions of this drawing so that there is considerable
white space remaining in the finished card."
You may choose either of these
                      SKETCHES.

I used an 'anjisantics' digi  I have had a while, I altered the shape
to make it more square here. I coloured it with Promarkers & pencil
crayon, then 3 d'd some of the petals. Another yellow layer was made
behind the main image too. After adding some glamour dust
& a spot of flower soft in the middle I added a computerized sentiment.
An easy one this week I think, thankyou so much Chrissie & Mandi :)

Had a lovely day babysitting Alex yesterday he was so well behaved
while his parents attended a wedding.
Also my niece gave birth  to a son today at 1.30 am, no name as yet, but
mum and baby both doing well I can report.
My other brother continues to be ill, he has a blood clot on his lungs and they have
also found a growth after doing a 2nd colonoscopy, we await results of a biopsy.
So happy and sad news today, isn't that always the case though !

Lilies card

Here is another DT card using a beautiful 'lilies' digi image
from  the very talented  Beccy again  .Such an easy image
to colour too. I just adore flower images as you probably
know already lol. She has another two new flower ones I will
be posting a pic of in the next few days.Anyway this lovely
image is available over at 'Beccy's Place'. Check out her
other super digi images and her freebies too.
The lilies card was made using my nesties ( curved rectangles),
I made a label by cutting both ends with the same nesties. Image
coloured with Copics/Promarkers and  coloured pencils.
Punched butterfly, gems & ribbon from stash.I used an ivory
pearlized card base for a change  this time. The sentiment was
stamped btw. using '( Jane's script) clear stamp.
I have just made two super quick cards with one of Beccy's new
freebies,.......I will be posting pics soon.Great for male or females
which is always a plus in my book !

Anniversary card with charm

Another card for 'Less is More' again. It's week 64 and
we have to make/use a charm on our project. So the theme is
                         How Charming !
I used an old Pink Petticoat image. I was going to use an owl
charm, but when I saw the hearts on these cute owls I decided
to use a heart charm instead.I used Copics & some soft chalking
on the nesties and image.A bit of glamour dust on the veil too.
A 'Jane's script' sentiment , some satin ribbon and a heart charm
I have had for ages with a few stones attached also.Yet another pink
 card again I fear :)

It's pouring down here today, don't think I will venture out !...
hope you are nice and snug in your craft rooms also today :)

Baby cards

It's week 64 over at 'Less is More' & it's a theme
this time, which is......
                           How Charming
We have to make and/or use a charm on  our project.
I decided to make & enter two baby cards. I need one for my neice
who is expecting her baby any day now. No idea if it's a boy
or girl as they wanted it to be a surprise so I made two cards.
I will probably make another larger card with their names
or the baby's name etc.but I have a choice now at least. I was in
need of spare baby ones anyway so these will come in  handy
at some point I am sure.
Both cards are made using a Pink Petticoat image. It's a sweet babyelephant which I have had for a while now.
The first card is a girl's card coloured in my fav pink again lol. I used
Copics to colour the image and added some glamour dust and
chalked the edge of the nestie too. A tiny hearts cuttled matt layer
behind it and a pink satin ribbon also. I added a cute 'tiny feet' charm I
have had for ages, I love it for baby cards.
The second card was made the same way except I used a labels two
nestie to cut the main image and a square nestie matt under that one.  A
sweet 'baby pram' charm & an organza ribbon complete the card.
I am so lucky to have a choice of  quite a few charms as I make bookmarks
with them on. I have so many now as I just cannot resist them lol. What
a great surprise when I looked at the LIM challenge this week, I was a
 very happy bunny  :)
We are off to see my first grandson tomorrow , saw my 2nd grandson two days ago
& had a long cuddle. We are also babysitting for both of them soon.... happy days !!!!
ps. Oh oh I just looked on the ribbon girl site..............now I NEED more
'stuff' !!!!....... sighs.

Wheelbarrow & pots card and gifts card

Here are two more DT cards made for Beccy over at
'Beccy's Place'.The first card is using her new 'wheelbarrow
& pots' digi images.I made a background using my GCF
programme too. I coloured the images using Copics &
Promarkers & I used some 3d pads to raise the images
up .There are some great digi images in this new set ideal
for the difficult to make male cards I think . Pop on over
and have a quick peek HERE.
My second card was using Beccy's 'gifts' digi image available
HERE. Quite a simple card to make too.I just coloured the
images with various Copics & ran the images through my
dotty folder for texture.Quick computerized sentiment and
job done. I think this card could also be used for either sex
which is always handy I think.Hope you like the cards :)

Catching bugs card

It's week 63 over at 'Less is More'  and it's the
dreaded one layer card again this time and .....
                       Doodling
I used a hugbug image 'catching bugs' I have had
for ages now. I added a few random butterflies
then drew a few swirly lines from them. I also drew
a little ladybird ( complete with little shoes he he).
Had to add a little 'ground' under her feet etc.
after I realised she was floating on air lol. Of course
I only noticed that after I had taken the photo &
messed with it psp and bordered it etc.....typical !
A computerized sentiment completed the card.

Green butterfly card

Here is another card for 'Less is More' again. It's week 62
and a colour challenge this time which is......

                     Three shades of green
I stamped my image ( My paper world, clear stamp), in
Versacraft 'Emerald' ink. Then I punched two butterflies &
coloured one using DI 'peeled paint'. I used my main stamp
again on the second butterfly. I made some little wire & bead
parts for the butterflies antennae ( almost lost the will to live
making those too!!). A few gems and pearls completed my
card. So my three shades are Emerald, peeled paint & the
 bright colour on the beads.
Still busy cleaning/painting/sorting the house out for a move,
taking forever and really fed up of it all now but suppose it
will all be worth it in the end !
Hope you all enjoyed a Happy Easter too .

Shades of green card

It's week 62 now over at 'Less is More' and it's a
colour challenge this week and they would like to see

                Three shades of green
 I stamped a leafy/flowery swirl ( clear Inkadinkado)one,
using Versacraft ink in (Emerald). Then I coloured some
of the flowers using some more ink.I punched a few tiny
butterflies using some vellum & coloured them with
sponged DI ( Peeled paint).I added a tag stamped using
Color Box( Evergreen) ink. A bit more sponging with DI
again to add interest. I matted the main image on another
layer edging that with the Evergreen ink again.. Another
of my handmade flowers , some glamour dust & gems
 completed the card.
I hope you are all enjoying Easter ! We celebrated with
all our children and the new grandbabies yesterday, a great
day had by all. I am in recovery today lol, so much food to
make, an egg hunt and two babies to pacify...it all went by
in a blurr !!! I will add a quick pic of the two babies which
I was dying to see together in my newly aquired cot :) Only
7 weeks apart in age and the youngest one is catching up fast,
although the eldest is so long now....he will be well over 6'
they say.The youngest one has 'boxing gloves' on (as they
call them)  as he keeps scratching himself.

Oh and after saying we would just buy two smallish eggs
for ourselves ( which we bought) OH surprised me with a
HUGE egg complete with chocolates and another huge one
& flowers from my children too. I deserved it apparantly lol !

I didn't make many Easter cards this year as I have been so
busy with one thing or another lately . Here are a couple I made,
I did make a few more for relatives but forgot to take pics .All
very similar though ! I used some Pink Petticoat images
'little chicks' bought last year I think. Images coloured with Copics
& a  bit of chalking round  the edge of the nesties too.Hope
you all have a lovely Easter, our children and grandchildren
are coming over for a meal and egg hunt, what fun !!!
