Silver butterfly card

It's week 72 over at 'Less is More' and it's a
theme this time which is...............
Something Shiny
I made this quick card,...... I think my mojo has
vanished completely for the moment. I almost didn't
bother making a card this time, but I haven't missed
one LIM challenge so far so.....
Anyway here it is,Pink Petticoat dp ( silver?), silver
 butterfly ( Cuttlebug die),PP sentiment.Clear gems
from stash.
The tiny clear stones I used in the display here
all spilled onto the floor, the whole container full !!!
the second time this has happened , I should just take
a few out each time to use & NOT leave the top off ( note to self).
ARGHH!!
I thought this sentiment was 'speaking' to me today, read below
to understand that.

Sorry personal stuff below, and it's very long... ok to skip this bit !

ps. It was my brother's funeral yesterday, a very emotional
day for us all.The church was packed as we knew it would be,
he was adored by many and such a lovely gentle man.
Still can't believe he is gone, .......still can't believe
I have lost two brothers in  the space of three months!
His three children wrote and read out their own lovely
poems dedicated to him...so very moving. This brother also read
out a poem he had written for our other brother at his funeral
only three months ago.I made commemorative bookmarks
for everyone there and to give to others who didn't attend.
( See pic below)
My brother wrote poetry, and my other brother and
my mother ...all used to write poetry. The poetry writing gene
stopped with me though alas !, but at least I made and chose poetry
for the bookmarks !The poem was read out at the funeral too
as my SIL loved it so much when she saw it.My SIL
read it out too, she was amazing. It was a long 5 hour
journey there and the same back all in two days.
So tired today, the traffic gets worse each time.
Not a good day today,............. I hope time will improve
things as it always does. Thankyou to everyone for
all the support, emails, comments etc.It has kept me going
through the last few difficult months.Bless you all .
hugs
 Viv xx

As always Viv your cards are stunning, and the bookmark for your brothers funeral is so lovely. The poem had me crying. Im so sorry to hear your family has had two deaths lately, and I hope you are ok. My brothers are very dear to me and couldn't imagine my world without them in it. The eldest is 31 and the youngest just 11 with a 23 year old in the middle. My thoughts are with you and your family Viv. Sending you all big hugs. Lee x

I love the silver butterfly on your lovely card Viv and what a very true sentiment.

I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your brother. The funeral sounds very moving and how comforting that so many people turned out to pay their respects. I love the poem on the bookmark and what a lovely way to commemorate him. It must be so hard for you to lose two close members of the family in such a short space of time. Sending big hugs, Vicky x
