LIM challenge week 34 ( sketch)

Here is a quick card for the
'Less is More' challenge again.
We have a sketch to work from
this week.I did a bit of sponging,
and added two stamps.I also
stamped behind the matt with the
same image for interest. Main image
then cut with nesties. Sentiment
computer generated, moved the
wording around for interest.
We got so many entries last week,
I just can't believe it. I hope we
get some new LIMettes who will
join us again now :O) Have a
good week everyone....I will be
away and mostly walking  a LOT
..... in the lovely Lake Distict
...now off to pack!
ps. Lost this  little bee stamp now, it fell
on the floor & I just cannot find it
( sob sob)!!!

LIM challenge week 33 (card 25!!)

When I realised I had made it to card 24
for the 'Less is More' site...(they are hoping
for 1000 entries). ...I just had to make it
an even 25. So for my FINAL effort this week
I made a teeny tiny teddy one 2" x3".Hope
you have enjoyed seeing  all my cards.
I will be back to making the more usual one
or two only now as  even I have reached
my limits lol !
Have a great weekend everyone, we are
off to the Lake Distict on Sunday for a
few days. I hope to squeeze a  quick
card in tomorrow in between packing lol.

ps. Here is a pic of a sphere my OH just finished
it's made with Yew and is a perfect sphere,....
isn't he clever....it's on a small stand here, angle
not great  in this pic sorry!

LIM challenge week 33 (card 24)

Here is my second to last card this week
for the 'Less is More' challenge. I stamped
the image  then added pearls coloured with
my Copics. I added a vellum butterfly
( also coloured first with Copics.)A sentiment
stamped in  the same ink as main image and
a strip of vellum completed it.Hope you like it,
am loving my new colour ink :O)
ps. Oooh I am so pleased this card made it
the 700th posting!

LIM challenge week 33 (card 23)

Here I am again with another card
for the 'Less is More' challenge,
more details on earlier posts .
This one was made quickly too, I
do hope my mojo keeps working
like this ! I used a patterned stamp
from another new set I bought for
my recent birthday. I have so many
new things now, daren't tell you
what I spent. Anyway back to the
card. I stamped in black and matted
that onto another white  matt. Then I
added a sentiment and covered that
with a strip of vellum, liking that idea
for softening the look of wording.I
tried stamping on vellum but it came
out all blurry, much prefer the soft
look doing it this way anyway I think.
I added a  punched butterfly &
gem to complete the card. Just can't
believe how many cards have been
posted this week on the LIM site.
Come on everyone .....one more
big push today to see if we can make
it to 1000!!!

LIM challenge week 33 (card 22)

Here is my last card today for  the 'Less is More'
challenge, details on earlier posts. I stamped using a
Anna Griffin stamp again ( twice for each side of it)
and  used Momento Bahama blue ink. Matted that
& edged another matt with same ink.
I added a white ribbon from stash & coloured another
piece using my Copics I added some gems ( coloured
with Promarker)to finish it off. Made this is quickly
which was great.
Here is the coffee cake I made too...and I made a
banana trifle... yum yum.
ps. Just had a thought , if you are running out of ideas
why not CASE the person who's card is above your entry :O)

LIM challenge week 33 (card 21)

Yes sorry yet another card ! Trying to help
'Less is More'  get to 1000 this week. Do
  try & make more cards everyone, I just
can't manage another 500 on my own!!!!
This one took me forever.....my mojo may
be waning . I stamped with an old Anna Griffin
stamp again in my new pink ink.It's a small
fancy background stamp and I did it twice
back to back. Then I used my new labels
to cut a shape. I used spray adhesive to
adhere that to a matt, then made a flower
using another new die from more stamping
as above again. Hope you are still with me,
all that took forever btw!Then I layered the
flower with plain white card  used in the
flower die & also the patterned die. Oh my
that sounds confusing already!! I added a
sentiment using the same ink & added gems.
To finish it off I sponged ink around the edge
of the matt & some of the flower petals also.
Phew..... hope you aren't all asleep after
the long explanation !!!
I made the scarf ( last night) for my DIL to
give her tonight ( pic below) . Just putting
the finishing touches to a coffee cake for
my son now.He just loves my coffee  cake
on his birthdays :O)

LIM week 33 ( card 20)

Oh  my I am on a roll now definately!
CARD 20!!!!! for 'Less is More' again.
I just seem to keep thinking of new ideas
as soon as I have finished a card...
what's happening to me !!!! ...help I
think I have a serious case of LIMitous!!
I found some yummy ribbon in my ribbon stash I have had for ages.The colour is a
kind of lilac/pink.I used another Anna
Griffin stamp ( been sitting in my drawer
for ages now). I stamped in black  then
coloured it with Promarkers.I sponged
the background area with distress inks
then stamped the sentiment on it too.
I stamped a tiny dragonfly , coloured that
with matching Promarkers & glamour
dusted & cut it out attached it.Rounded
one corner & added the ribbon. Hope
you like it, I was quite pleased with the
end result :O)

Here is my offering today for the 'Less is More'
challenge again ( details on earlier posts).Just don't
know where my inspiration is coming from but I am
hoping it continues. Why is it sometimes you can't
think of a single thing and yet another time you
could stay up all night and make card after card??
Anyway back to my card......card 13 for LIM ( wish I had
added them all separately now that would make 19 in total!)

LIM week 33 ( card 18)

Well here is yet another card today for
the 'Less is More' challenge, details on
earlier posts.I would have made more
today but I had to stop to clean the house
& make scones, bit brown as I was
making this card lol. Got a busy week
this week but I will try and make a card
everyday if I can.Had a lovely lunch with my
youngest son and his wife on Sat & going
for a meal with my oldest son later in the week.
(Have a scarf to knit for my DI too....oh crumbs! )
I get to see more wedding pics &  the latest
baby scan  pics too.I am so excited AGAIN !!!
We are off to the Lake District for a few days
on Sunday also so have to do clothes sorting
etc. before then.Will add a pic of scones, one
is blurry but wanted to show you the yummy
clotted cream and home made jam we had
with them :O).....saved one for you Jackie!!

LIM week 33 (card 17)

 I made another  card  today for the
'Less is More' challenge. Anything CAS
is the theme so I used another Digi
Stamp Boutique image again.We are
trying for 1000 entries this week.....well
I am doing my best to make as many
as I can.Please join in if you can everyone,
even one simple card a day, we all need
lots of Xmas ones don't we so I am mainly
making those this week :O)

Yes another card for the 'Less is More' challenge again.
Forgot about this card I made a while ago he he, another
to add to the 1000 we are aiming for, details on site link
above :O) The fuchsia is a digi image from 'Passion for
Stamps' by the very talented Ruth.
Coloured with shimmery watercolour paints ,made a
frame with my nesties also. Wording computer generated,
numbers cut with Cuttlebug & glittered. I 3d'd
some of the petals on the flower too & glittered
those too.

PP again but this time using my fav
square  tent  fold card  base. Well
that's a few Xmas ones done now
at least. Hmm what to make next

again. Xmas ones , I am getting a few of these done
now. First one is made with PP papers (Kerry...AKA
pickle inspired, she made similar ones ages ago).
Another of the ' nativity scene ' ones again too

LIM Week 33 (cards 2 & 3)

We are going for 1000 posts over at
'Less is More' so thought I would add
them in two's now seeing as they are
similar :O)

Made same as the first one ( see earlier
post for more details). I added some
snowtex to the first one here & also added
a lilac matt .I drew a line around the top
matt with Promarkers on the second one
& chalked a sky also.

LIM challenge week 33( card 1)

Week 33 now over at 'Less is More'
this time it's an easy one 'Anything CAS Goes'.
Thought I would make a start on my Xmas
cards. 'Digi Stamp Boutique' image coloured
with Promarkers, then glamour dusted some
parts to highlight. Computer generated
sentiment ( Cool dots font).I distressed
around the edge of the matt and and used
distress paint also.
Just been out with my youngest son and
wife for a lovely meal . Then dashed back
and immediately started this card lol.We
hope to get 1000 postings this week at the
LIM site so I hope to be making more cards
this week :O) Happy crafting everyone!

ps. I have added my card to the site again
as it seems to have gone missing for some reason!

Walk in the woods.

We went for a lovely walk in the nearby woods
again yesterday and we came accross this lovely
mushroom/toadstool. Last year I saw loads of them
 under some large trees.
It looked so magical with the sun coming through
the trees. I am hoping to get a nice photograph of
them this year but no sign as yet........but maybe
soon! Anyway here are a few pics if you are
interested. The walk ends ( for us anyway) at
that little bridge, the last pic is the view from the bridge.
It would be so much nicer if that branch wasn't there,
 then you could see all along the river.
ps. Couldn't resist adding a fairy !

Another scarf !

I made another scarf again last night.
This time in a cream colour, I am
giving the purple/maroon one to my
lovely daughter-in -law and she says
she loves it. Bought more wool today
( again),this time  mainly in various
shades of blue for the new expected
babe :O)

More baby clothes knitting !

Now I know one of my expected grandbabies is to be
a boy I  just had to make something with blue wool :O)

Card 3 for LIM challenge

Another card again for 'Less is More',
...am soooo addicted to this site now!
The challenge is 'seeing double' & it's 'one
layer' card week too.As I seem to have babies
on my mind 24/7 these days ( wonder why ha ha).
I decided to make another baby card, don't think
ours will be twins...unless one is hiding! Two teddies
( creative expression) this time, I reversed one in
my GCF programme.
Coloured with Copics, chalked around the edge
of bears.Sentiment computer generated again.
I made a rocker card for a change, these are easy to do.
You just make and fold the card as usual then use something
to round the bottom part ( I used a hat box lol).So I just
drew around it then cut it off. It rocks back and forth quite
nicely too ( can't stop playing with it now) :O)

Here is my second picture I am posting for inspiration
again, this time it's green and white.Now I look again
I even think my seed head resembles the table and plants on it
in shape.............what do you think?

I decided to make a tiny card in those soft colours.
It qualifies( just about) for this weeks 'Less is More'
challenge too as it happens, where the theme is a
'one layer' card & 'seeing double.'
'Hobby art' clear seed head stamp again, green tea
versacolor  ink & soft chalking.
 I added some white pearlised dots using
Trichem decorating paint for interest,..... hope you like :O)

More knitting....but not baby stuff today!

I have decided to add a pretty picture for inspiration some days
on here now, hope you find them inspiring too!
I made two ruffled scarves,...quite short ones but nice to wrap
around your neck without adding bulk to a jacket/coat :O)
