Less is More challenge (week 9) card 1....'a touch of red'

Another 'Less is More' card challenge again. This week it is  'a touch of red',
I printed some digistampboutique butterfly images and coloured one with red
Luminarte ruby red watercolour  then added copic Ruby over that when it was dry.
It looks rather pink here but it IS red IRL I promise! I coloured some gems to match
and used white gel ink to add their 'feelers' .Then I glitttered the red one with
glamour dust( I love that stuff). I decided on a black card for a change,
then added a white matt and a further black matt before mounting the images , all
popped up on 3d pads ...the layers anyway. Hope you like it...........I may make more
seeing as I am quite addicted to this site now lol !!!!

What a dramatic card! It was a great idea to mat onto white and brilliant to only colour one of the butterflies.

Thanks for the story about talking to the socks! We are only here to provide the comedy for our families! Vx
